I don’t think Siakam was ever available for a one year rental of Kawhi. Had the Spurs been able to get him by including their first instead of taking the Raptors’ first, they would have gone that route.

More infuriating is that they took Green in the trade and he’s had a phenomenal season. Meanwhile the Spurs are eating dead Gasol money next year.

Only saving grace is Poeltl, and he will only be cheap for 14 more months.

RC has drafted well the past few years (the Nikola pick was in retrospect to save cap room to sign LMA). But that trade was a forced disaster.

Is he an Allstar? - No, but a very good and solid Starter for years to come.

I don’t mind LMA he has actually had a very good year for me it is DEROZZ I don’t know if he really wants to be here. He is clearly not happy don’t remember him getting so many techs with Raptors as he had with us this year. Either way if the right trade came across then yeah you do what is best for the team and make the trade. It won’t happen with DEROZZ as we don’t want to look like we got screwed by the Raptors trade.
