Half of the work is done on this stay in SA. Need to bring the same level of intensity on Tuesday night. Good adjustment by Pop with Barry as backup point. Barry saw 21 minutes to Finley's 17 as well. The offensive flow was much, much better with Barry getting that much time.

Ok. Jacque Vaughn has not pleased my expectations for the backup point guard role for the San Antonio Spurs. His contributions could be improved by those coming from a 46 year old. On a wheelchair.

He was great in the Finals last year, and every time his position was threatened during the reg season this year, but he's faded out of view... no way he's worse than NVE who single-handedly lost the 2006 Mavs series though!

Nice win by the Spurs. The Lakers will make adjustments and Odom won't miss those layups in Game 4. The Lakers should get back to L.A. 3-1.

And three of those minutes for Fin were garbage time.

Even our best players deserve some criticism when they don't show up.

We are not taking that back.

At least Pop found out a more effective offensive game plan...shredding the D vice running the traditional pick & roll

    great passing, we win.

    good job fellas!

Dont expect Odom and Fisher to combine for 3 shots made next game. I expect the Lakers to win the next game in SA.

If we hadn't been screwed by the scheduling and the plane problem, we'd be up 2-1, with both wins being blow-outs. I am quite confident the Spurs can win the next three. This Lakers team is not strong enough in the post to handle Duncan, Parker, and Manu.

I'll admit this: coming from an Oberto skeptic like me, he really impressed me tonight in which my mentality towards him is vastly changing for the better.

    Good win Spurs.

We aren't gassed. I thought we were, but we aren't. The problem is ball movement and hitting our shots. If we had moved the ball like that in Game 2, it would have been much closer and we would have had a much better chance to win. The reason the Spurs lose on the road is because they quit moving the ball. They quit making that extra pass. They settle for one pass out of the double team instead of two.

With that said, the reason why Jackson's teams are so ing good is because he realizes that moving the ball is a must. The triangle offense ENSURES that ball movement must occurr. Teams lose ball games because they quit moving the ball on offense and start playing too much 1-on-1 basketball.

Pop needs to be all over moving the ball. If we move the ball, we win this series. I don't care if we lost the first two, if we continue to move the ball we will win the series. Our defense has been effective enough against the Lakers. It's our offense that has its problems.
