Then how about add “ for a big 12 championship team “
He can’t dream that his individual excellence results in his team being the best?
Well I guess he’s a 10th grader going to 11th so baby steps.

Any updates on the qb transfers with fall starting in a week?
Inside Texas said he measured in at 6-6 / 280 this weekend.

This was from a Utah board on Rising:
"The quarterback transfer out of Texas was on campus this weekend. We’ve heard mixed reviews about his visit from various sources. Some tell us he liked it fine, but wasn’t blown away. Some tell us that Utah did a good job selling the program. We’ll see where the truth lies. We know that Texas is trying to convince him to stay, but that ship has likely sailed. In addition to Utah, rising is looking at Wazzu, Arizona, Fresno State, and San Diego State. Utah will be in this week to visit Rising in his home."
You talk about playing with leverage. I've never been a fan of Kyler for apparent reasons, but you'd have to admit he is playing this hand about as good as you can.
Per 24/7, Coach Hand will be seeing JUCO OL Bamidele Olaseni of Garden City, KS this week.
He has been completely silent with the media, but Texas is still recruiting him and he has three officials left.

On JUCO LB Lakia Henry...24/7 is hearing that he won't be in Austin until January 25th.
It's been reported that he will be in this weekend, but they're hearing no official visitors are scheduled and the staff is going to use this weekend to bring more underclassmen in.
The headliner is 2020 RB Zach Evans.
Quotes from 2020 S Chris Thompson, Jr. of Duncanville (24/7):
“I like Coach Naivar a lot,” Thompson said. “He’s always cracking jokes. He’s a really funny guy. We’re just growing closer together. We just talk about things that will impact me in the future.”
“There were people talking trash about SEC over Big 12, so it was exciting to see Texas beat an SEC team and a Top 5 team,” Thompson said. “The way the won is definitely attracting more recruits.”
“Even though I haven’t made a list yet, they are in my top schools,” Thompson said. “I just like the coaches — Coach Naivar and Coach (Tom) Herman. They have a great education and are one of the richest schools. They play six defensive backs, and that’s cool.”
“I think I’ll be more of a true safety, but I’ll definitely be down in the box,” Thompson said. “I think I’ll play kind of how BJ Foster plays. Sometimes Caden Sterns comes up in the box, too. I also think I can be a high safety. I feel like I’m versatile.”
“We (Thompson and Ja'Quinden Jackson) want to play together,” Thompson said. “We’ll see if anything changes, but right now we’re planning to go to the same school. We both like Texas, of course. And we both like LSU. We kind of have the same factors.”

Inside Texas on OL Javonne Shepherd after his official visit to A&M:
"The North Forest offensive lineman took his long anticipated official visit to Texas A&M this weekend and didn't flip. I didn't think he would, but I also wouldn't have been shocked by it. In successive weeks he's scheduled to visit Georgia, Alabama, and Texas. Texas coaches don't want those other two visits to take place but there's a good chance they will. The staff has strategically positioned itself to receive the final visit just ahead of his February 6th announcement. Why does a committed player have an announcement date? To shock the world of course, but almost every player who wants to shock the world does anything but shock the world. I still have Texas as the slight favorite to land him over the field but every outcome is still on the table."
FWIW, 24/7 said this morning they've never felt worse about Texas' chances.
Soooooo, there's that.
I think the consensus for a while has been Arky. I'd be perfectly fine with Moore being the next guy in line, if Texas sees him as a take.
Good news on Abercrumbia.
