How is Covington’s defense? I saw he got some defensive awards in the d-League. The Covington/Gay At 3 And LMA/Pau/Saric At 4/5 isn’t bad on paper. Solid playoff team.

If I had to guess what is happening. Lebron nixed any trade ideas to LA involving selling the farm for Kawhi. He would rather have the team as "Lebron and the Lakerettes". Kawhi bears this from the Lakers and now with the fear of having to rot on the bench for the spurs during the year he is now leaking he would consider signing with the Sixers to finally get a trade. He would be the low key star there too with Embiid getting all the attention.

Best, logical, Kawhi trades:
-Lakers: Ingram, Kuzma, Ball, Randle, draft pick (It's probably the only type of package that could get PATFO to trade Kawhi to LA).
-Celtics: Irving, draft pick.
-Sixers: Fultz, Covington, Z.Smith, draft pick.
More or less, those are the teams and packages that the Spurs could get for Kawhi. I doubt any other team or players are in play.
So, which one do you like most?
If the Spurs could somehow get Irving and Brown from the Celtics, that would be the one I'd like the most, but I doubt that's a possibility.
