Well, wow. Manu's 6 for 10 in threes. GHill is 2-3. I didn't see the game, but why did Pop go to Mason so much?

I wonder what Mason's FG% has been since he went public with his trade request. I'd be surprised if it was over 20%.
Dude's a fragile little flower, not an NBA player.

Of course, there's plenty of blame to go around. Dice is nothing but an ineffective jump shooter, and RJ, well we know about him now. His career is an illusion.

never thought i'd see anytime soon where the spurs looked like they'd be missing the playoffs... tough break guys i can't imagine losing nash for 6 weeks...
The Spurs will make the playoffs. I guarantee it. I'll never post on this forum again if the Spurs don't make the playoffs (that's how confident I am).

The good thing about this game is that it is now plain to see that Manu still got it. He can take over a game. The problem is, our supporting casts disappeared.

Mason should have passed to Hill in the Corner because Moon ran off Hill to contest Mason's shot.
Lol, Mason passing the ball in that situation would never happen.

Mason has that Pop mentality where he thinks he can make every shot regardless of what he's been doing all night.

LOL at people calling RMJ "choker"

Is that what you called him last season?

    Losers....
    He's choked all season idiot.

So if you averaged 20 ppg the season before and then average 2ppg the following season. Does that mean you're still great? I didn't know that the clutch shots he hit last season have carried over to this season and has helped us get wins this season.

Last season he was clutch, this season he has blown almost every big shot and has been un-clutch.

If Mason Jr was looking for a big contract he has blown it. He's a scrub. He's had an inflated ego asking for a trade and not come up with anything.

I started watching this game in the third quarter

I did not see Duncan do one positive thing in this game. Rare bad game by Duncan. He had a horrible un-Duncan turnover to Delonte West.

Awesome game by Manu. Please keep it up.

RMJ's issues with the team are affecting his play. No way he misses that many wide open threes if his head is on right. He was wide- ing-open so many times.

Jefferson is the biggest mistake this FO has made since letting Rodman go.
RJ led the team in boards and did not hurt the team. He did not help either. But Mason/Bogans/Dice all hurt the team.

I know Timmy usually get a pass, but this loss is on him. No excuse out there, Timmy getting schooled by a team with no big man
duncan played a terrible game. he did get doubled every time he touched the ball which means our shooters have to connect. mason couldnt.

pop drew up a beautiful play at the end, especially showing confidence in roger after that terrible performance and mason still couldnt hit the wide open 3. the guy is officially done. hes done as a spur and wont do . that bum

Remember when the Spurs were a smart, composed and disciplined team coming down the stretch of games?

That was awesome (Cleveland remains a house of horrors for Tim and his shooting stroke).

Exactly. A loss is better to get a better draft position. The higher the position the better chance at getting an impact player through the draft. This team is struggling to beat backups.
You guys make it seem as if a top 10 pick is a lock to be a stud. That ain't the case and years and years of after draft performances prove it. So the Spurs don't get pick 14 or whatever, who gives a ? There are plenty of GM's that wish they could have a guy like George Hill. It's about scouting. It's not the draft picks that have the Spurs reeling, it's the inability of a certain KEY veteran acquisitions that are making the Spurs so damned inconsistent. Bogan's ain't stopping anyone and when guys like McDyess, Mason, & Jefferson can't drop a ball in the ocean, then this team will lose games like this despite Manu's intensity and performance. When he scores over 30, it means no one else did their in' job.

Ginobili and Hll were the only really bright spots. Bonner had some decent minutes... and some bonehead plays. What did Tim do? Why didn't he show? Has he given up on the season? Bonner at least looks interested. Tim just looks like he's pouty.

Like someone else said earlier - I REALLY miss Brent, Horry and Bruce. Man - how we took them for granted. Not just their clutch shooting and defense, but their incredible basketball IQ - that's what these other guys are missing.

You can't win with Richard Jefferson turning out garbage like this. That man is making more than both tony and manu.

3 pts is unacceptable. What the is wrong with him? Does he have no shame? Is he able to go home and look in the mirror, or look his life partner in the eyes?? Where's his pride?
