Cannot wait for the opener. Me and four of my buddies are headed down to make a weekend out of it.
We are going to see a completely different team on August 30th come out of that tunnel.
Beck manhandled Whiteley at the 0:20 mark. That kid may see some decent time this year.
TE Will Gragg of Pine Bluff, AR reviews his visit to UT last weekend (24/7):
"(My impression) went extremely up," Gragg said. "I came in with high expectations and they exceeded all of those to the highest level. It was great just being able to interact with the coaches and the players."
"I want to get down there (Austin) maybe one or two more times in the summer and then come down there for my official on Sept. 6," he said.
"When I was down there I got to see the Texas Relays obviously, but I also got to see the facilities and meet with Coach (Charlie) Strong and meet all the coaches,” Gragg said.
"I got to see a practice and that was nice,” he added. “It was intense. Those boys get after it. Their defense, they play really intense and Coach Strong loves it. The offense struggled a little bit because the defense was just so good."
"It doesn't matter to me because I feel like I can do both at an extremely high level,” Gragg said. “If they feel like they want to leave me out in the slot I would like to do that or I can put my hand on the ground and block down on defensive ends."
"I was with Coach (Bruce) Chambers and I watched the way (the tight ends) blocked and they ran routes,” he added. “I watched the different zone blocking schemes that they do. But basically the physicality of the practice was what I watched.”
"Yeah, those coaches, they were amazing," Gragg said. "I got to talk to Coach Strong and he is the head guy and you couldn't tell from just talking to him. He is an extremely genuine guy. I got to talk to Coach Chambers and I would spend the most of my time with him if I were to go there. We got to sit in the film session a lot and talk with the offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach. Just everybody in general gave it a homey feeling."

WR DaMarkus Lodge just told a 24/7 reporter his top three is LSU, Ole Miss and Clemson.
24/7 saying QB Connor Brewer is currently running first team for Arizona and WR Cayleb Jones is also a potential starter.
Something to keep in mind for those of you who like to watch other teams besides Texas.

"I talked to them before the practice. I got to sit down in the meetings before they went on field," Mayden said. "I talked to all the defensive coaches - coach (Chris) Vaughn, coach (Vance) Bedford, coach (Chris) Rumph. I talked to coach (Charlie) Strong too. They were talking about their vision for getting Texas back on top and how I fit in their defense."
"It was nice to see people actually flying around," Mayden said.
"They're (Texas) definitely up there. It's nice to come back and see but I don't have to really make any crucial decisions right now," Mayden said. "In the summer when I come up for camp and actually work for them, I'll have a better idea of where things are."

"This is great, I've been offered by Texas," Keke said. "This moves them right to my favorites. They're in my top five for sure."
“They were really happy,” he said. “They want to get this thing going. It’s just great to get this offer. I’m not sure yet when I want to make a decision, but I’d like to come back down again. They’re sitting in a good position with me, that’s for sure.”
“It was intense (at Saturday's practice),” he said. “I liked watching that defensive line get after it. Coach (Chris) Rumph got after it with those guys and they were making some big plays out there. It gets you excited watching guys play like that. It was a lot of fun. They tore it up out there. I had a blast really.”

I know they’re interested in me and they feel comfortable with me. It’s the same for me with them. So they haven’t came out and said they’re going to offer, but I feel like one could come down the line. I would really like that.”
