Oh sorry I misunderstood. I didn't know that if you reserved it you could get it a day early. Oh well the Ravens play tonight so I guess that will keep me busy. Well that and 2K7 on my ancient PS2.

Some places did it for NCAA 08.
Last year I got Madden at Walmart at midnight. The line moved very quickly, and they had tons of copies at the register. They just ask what console you want it for

I doubt it. With all the gamestops, EB games stores, I think there should be plenty to go around. Not like when those consoles come out and every store gets like only 10-40 consoles depending on store size.

I used to work at Best Buy when I was in school and we used to gets boxes and boxes of those new releases. We very rarely to never ran out of games themselves. You should be okay with going after work. I was all set to get a 360, but decided to wait on thie PS3 and see how that does. So far I'm regretting I just didn't break down and get a 360. Still might just go ahead and get one soon since the PS3 still seems to be far more inferior to the 360.
Games wise the 360 is hands down better, plus xbox live is addicting.
I don’t know if anybody has mentioned this yet. But I am a big madden fan… that was until 2007 Xbox 360. The game play was horrible. The control layout was way off and when ever you play head to head, each player can see the selected play of the other opponent. I say go back to the NCAA format and the Madden 06 game play. I hope 08 is back to normal. Does anybody know how the game play will be?
I love the way madden 07 played. and cant wait to get my hand on the game later tonight. loved 06 also, but 07 was much better than 06.

I know exactly how you feel, last years version had to be the tiest game of Madden I've ever played, I used to not be able to put the game down for months and months, I played 07 for about five games and sold it on ebay. The worst thing was the commentator and I really couldn't stand the game, even though about buying APF this year but decided to hold out when I saw the great reviews Madden has been getting. Apparently it's back to form and worth buying
Man you guys are fortunate. The only games I can play without feeling like I'm about to have a seizure is Madden and pretty much any sports game. Good for me that I really like playing sports games. But it sucks when I hear you guys talking about the other cool role playing games that sound fun as that if I tried to play them would more than likely cause me to pass out instantly upon standing up. The only good thing for me is that I can probably save a boatloads of money because I sure as heck would have a crap load of them. I dn't know I used to be all good up until I was 19, I don't know what the heck happened. I sometimes try and play them, unfortunatley with the same light-headed feeling just after a few minutes. I did force myself to finish Max Payne for the original X-Box only to feel like I had guzzled down an entire keg.
Well, I've got a few Gamestops and Wal-Marts on my way home, I should be able to grab one.
in madden 07 i appreciated the adjustments they made with the defensive play. makin it extremely easy to adjust your line, lb and corners to adjust to the offensive sets. and i love how the did away with the squid kick. i hated the squid quick. madden 07 was awesome and if ncaa 08 is any indication Madden 08 will be Superbad in 3 hrs and 48 mins
Thats seems to be the overall concensus. Hence the PS3 dropping its price by a 100 bucks.
Florige your missin out bcuz The Darkness was an awesome game. had a really cool story and i was instantly hook. thanks to work i still havent beat it. but this one part made me jump out of my seat it freaked me the out
