4 blocks from Rasho so far, 2 of them on Dirk
Rasho is owning Dirk.
Incredible even for a big fan of the big guy like myself.
4 blocks from Rasho so far, 2 of them on Dirk
Rasho block #4! The commentator on FIBA just said it's the best game he has ever seen Rasho play inside. He also said he thinks Rasho is sick of people questioning him and his ability and the talent of the Slovenian team.
Rasho 13 points 7 rebounds 4 blocks
This is humiliating for Germany![]()

Unreal!![]()
BTW: Vilfan just jinxed us, he's said we already won![]()
Those are nice, but have you seen Rasho defend against Dirk on the perimeter. Wasn't he supposed to be too slow? Didn't look too slow to me.
I tried to tell people that I have seen Rasho defend Dirk number of times and he could have been fine doing it against Dallas in 2006. Spurs would have another le.
You don't need to explain this to me, try to convince Timvp or Pop for that matter.
BTW: Big ball rules!
He has tried to hard, well next time will be better
The German commentator on DSF has been coming up with ever worst description of the loss. He now finally said: "What can we hope for here? To lose with less than 30 points difference? I think the German can not explain this dismantling. I think they should just go out after the game and get drunk. Maybe it'll help them forget the beating they received today".
I cried...

Some guys in Slovenia really work fast ...
Turning Point: The opening whistle. Germany didn't show up, trailing 30-9 after one quarter and never getting closer than 20 points the rest of the way as Slovenia humiliated the 2005 silver medallists 77-45 to remain undefeated 4-0 ahead of their Group F clash with perfect Lithuania. Germany dropped to 1-3 but know a victory against Italy on Wednesday will be enough to advance to the quarter-finals.
Hero: Matjaz Smodis led Slovenia with 17 points, including eight points as Ales Pipan's team jumped out to a 21-point lead after one period.
Statistics: Slovenia held Germany to 29% shooting (17-of-60) in the game. The Slovenians also committed only 10 turnovers while hitting 21-of-27 free throws (78%).
