So he is really good enough to play immediately if the spring works out well?
I would rather have LJH back and McCoy. And I want to win the damn conference instead of beat ATM in recruiting ratings.
Having said the above, 2019 is still on as I had hoped.
And the J. Shepherd thing I just cant have any faith in and dont know if I really want what appears to be a royal pain in the neck.
Per 24/7, they expect ATH Bru McCoy to be in Austin this weekend to enroll and move in his dorm.
He is not considering any other schools at this time and an official announcement should be made in the coming days.
Boy the new transfer rules/portal thing is really helping the recruiting site readership Im guessing.
This has been an incredible day. Majors and Bru.
Also, reports that Shepherd is 60% to stay committed according to IT.
Well of course we rather have LJH back than not have him back but he isn't coming back.
Dont you do this to me.
I will stay in denial.
He's never coming back! EVER!
Not saying this isn't a big pickup but why is he only 5.5 (lowest 3 star rating possible) on Rivals?
Jeez I bet Mr Incredible there could still pancake a few D linemen today.
Most I’ve seen from everyone is that he’s on the verge of reaching 4 star status. He’s definitely on the rise so need to worry.
Recruiting rankings don't mean squat. Sound like Aggs claiming bs victories. Getting gratification from so called recruiting victories is part of the culture that needs to be done
away with.
Results on the field is what matters not the number of stars.
24/7 did it last year. Ale Kaho signed with Washington, but transferred to Alabama in August. They added him to Alabama's 2018 Class. But as you said, it really doesn't matter.
As someone said on Surly, it's really funny that A&M fans are more worried about the recruiting rankings, rather than being bothered by the fact that Texas is about to add the #10 player in the country. They really are all about recruiting perception, it seems.
He had already enrolled? I don't care about the rankings, but am more concerned with McCoy being able to be eligible this next year. Although, it seems like the NCAA is giving out waivers right and left. They have nothing to gain from keeping him out.
No, he never enrolled at Washington. But since USC gave McCoy a full release, I think McCoy's got a good chance with the NCAA. As you said, it does seem like the NCAA is giving out waivers right and left these days.
24/7 saying everything checks out with JUCO LB Lakia Henry.
His grades and transcripts shouldn't be an issue when it comes to enrolling at UT should he decide to do so.
