Man I haven't posted this much since forever. Hope this happens for our sanity!
At least he can hit big shots in the playoffs, unlike Bonner

Well he's been at odds with Skiles all year.
bump for an answer.
also interested to see if this is straight up. I know GSW wants to unload Biedrins too, and he's the only decent big we can get from them. thing is we'd have to get rid of a few more guys to get him and it's not worth it.
SJax has an at ude that is built for winning. He will give the Spurs an edge that RJ just has not found. His aggressive play may also rub off on some of the loafers (Blair). To say he lost a step may be better phrased as he has little patience for losing.
Throw Bonner in the deal and I will cream my 27" monitor....
@johnhollinger: What do you suppose the odds are of a Warriors-Spurs trade working out in GST's favor? 1%? 2% maybe?
I wonder if this deal is straight up, or Spurs should add pick/ JA/ CJ/ DG.
I seriously didn't expect the FO to do this kind of move, but please, let this happen. It would be awesome for Kawhi to learn from a player with balls
He will bring it in statement games.
Thats crazy, when he was here he could shoot and his handles were bad . Jefferson can hit the three, until near the playoffs then even that part of him goes.
Ehh... Usually speculation of any trades that involve the spurs never happen... So i dont think its gonna happen.. :|
Damn. 10 out of 15 players from that team don't play anymore.
I'm watching the Trade Deadline Show currently running on NBATV and David Aldridge confirmed what he has already reported, "the Spurs and Warriors are nearing a deal to swap Jaclson and Jefferson." He went on to say that "Pop loves Jackson, the team won a championship with him and Pop loves players who care. Say what you want about Jackson, but he desparately wants to win."
Stinging indictment against RJ - but nothing we didn't already know.
David Aldridge just brought it up on NBATV. Of course, it was only mentioned for like 10 seconds.
Balls over anytime
If Spurs don't trade additional pieces like a first round pick, I like this trade.
With the recent moves done by other NBA teams, having cap space in 2012 looks way less interesting than few days ago.
Deal works if its only a swap according to ESPN's NBA Trade Machine
SJax also allows for Manu to run the backup PG. Could see Leonard, Manu, and SJax at the same time. RJ too limited mentally to run in that set.
SpearsNBAYahoo: Warriors acquire forward Richard Jefferson from Golden State for forward Stephen Jackson, a source tells Y!

Do it. Do it. Do it.
SJax sucks* but RJ sucks more.
