It was a matter of time tbh.. even curry has bad shooting days.
Mr. Robot's first ty episode.

An inevitable exposition episode; i can't complain much. Still don't know what is up with Tyrell.
I don't get the complaints. Thought it was very good. And relieved that it didn't go another way with Mr. Robot.

Finale delayed because of shooting
Spoiler alert?
That's ridiculous. If you are afraid of triggering or something like that, you should probably stick to the Food Network.
USA with the re ed logic.
What would postponing it a week do exactly? A week from now, people close to the situation will still be remember this like yesterday. Might as well re-shoot the episode if that's what you're afraid of.
Well if you look at it cynically, it's actually free publicity for the show. I've heard Mr. Robot mentioned in outlets that have never said word one about it before. I'll just go ahead and predict record ratings for the finale.
A week is plenty of time to binge watch before finale ^
This is true. It has already been renewed, but could always use more viewers.
Damnit
Or people will just move on to other shows.
So I wonder which character shoots another in the finale?
If they want to see anything scripted, there really isn't much else on.
No Tyrell in the finale but still very good. I'm gonna miss this show. I loved the Ashley Madison hack reference in the beginning . And the confrontation between Elliott and Tyrell's wife was great. The suicide wasn't at all similar to the real life news shooting, but I guess I can understand postponing the finale for a week.
That suicide was totally Bud Dwyer inspired, but having it happen on a news boradcast made it bad enough.
Solid ending, however many of the earlier middle episodes were the best of that season , but that's what kept me watching. Lookin forward to season 2.
I like how the show kind of trips you out with all the ****** narrating, the wide array of characters, and the real life similarities
Boring.
Show got pretty lame towards the end. I'm not digging the insanity of Ellio!!t. Is too much like watching a drug addicted on withdrawals. Those kind of episodes kills the mood fast.
Show had a strong start but it's kind of leveling out. USA is back to being a ty network again.
EDIT:
Why the is the name e.l.l.i.ot censored here?
ing .... I hadn't seen that video in years, and curiosity just got the best of me to compare the 2. Now I regret watching it again.
You guys watched through the credits right?
Damn, I have no idea where this show is going. Between the Sopranos-like dream sequences and the Fight Club-like schizophrenia, Mr. Robot has got me scratching my head.
And I take back my comment about Tyrell Wellick. Price came across as sinister in this episode.
Yep, nice peak into the next season. Price etc...........is intriguing.
Granted the last episode or two slowed down a bit, there's no reason to write it off. They've done enough work early on to keep me intrigued. The energy everyone wanted in the finale was expended two episodes ago, and it was a gradual decent into the finale. But there still is character development all-around that people are writing off because of this.
Couldn't have said it better
Finally saw the finale. Nothing wrong at all. I liked the scene with E and Wellicks GF. Made me wonder if E was Wellick. Reminded me of the scenes between DeNiro and Rourke in Angelheart.
I agree that at some point soon, E's craziness will get to be irritating. Especially if they continually use it as a Deus ex machina device.
But all in all, what a great and unique first season.
2 eps in, good stuff!
