who is the better defender right now Hill or Parker?
Hill, I think, is hesitating to shoot. I think he is focusing more on getting shots for his team than himself. Several times he was eyeballing the basket and looked to be going into his shot, but then passed it up.

hes got a mid range game.. hes just not used to using it as a point guard
Kinda hard to say. Parker is in the NBA and Hill isn't quite in it yet. Maybe after a season in the NBA you could get a relevant answer from me :P
Tolliver has really improved his shooting since I saw him play in college. Hes developed a nice outside touch, although he did rush a couple in the first half of this game. Hes always been a great hustler for rebounds, charges, and blocked shots if called upon. I look for him to make an opening day roster....what do the rest fo you think about Tolliver?
I'm pretty sure Tony could shut down Erick Craven if he knew who he was.
so he need to start, all the summer league he is or shooting 3 or go all the way to the basket
parker i think has the quickness edge on defense.. hill has the wingspan edge and its really an advantage on passing lanes
This game is especially bad since they are going up against a bunch of D-Leaguers who weren't good enough to latch on to other summer league teams. A couple of the games have been pretty decent to watch. D-League games are cleaner but it is also a lower talent level ... so the trade off makes it about equal in my eyes.
Parker is a really good defender when he tries. Hill has a chance to be a good defender but probably should wait to see him go against actual NBA players before making the comparison.
I agree with you that he needs to tear drop or pull a mid range jumper.. his strength is his deceptive first step.. he loses his advantage taking it all the way to the rim
There's a discussion going on here:

I'm sure he has a camp invite. If we don't sign any other big men aside from Thomas, he has a slight chance of making the team.
He has a chance to make it in the NBA but he'll need to become a very good shooter. The rest of his game isn't good enough to survive unless he's can shoot ~38-40% on three-pointers. Even then, his upside is that of a eighth or ninth man.
The only person that can truly beat George Hill is himself.. obviously besides upper echelon NBA players but.. Hill is a lake of talent but he handicaps himself with thinking too much sometimes... he needs to get NBA mental toughness, and he needs to play with instinct.. which he does.. but playing a new position.. he is slowly but surely.. playing the game more and thinking less.
bye bonner...sign tolliver
ian is picking his game up
Bud with the T
Not that I disagree. Tolliver just got out of the restricted area.
Anyone know who that girl in the white behind Bud is?
