Wisest words spoken in this thread.
Again one game in the regular season will not dictate how a playoff series will go....
It's a little premature!!
Wisest words spoken in this thread.
You should heed them then.
I don't like Kobe but that doesn't bother me what he said. Duncan half-asses some plays and that was a lucky shot, and i do believe the f-him was out of compe ion. May not be the right words to say, but may not have been the kind of f-him some may think it means. I wasn't confident with Duncan with the ball in his hands last night. I wanted Manu with the ball at that time.
Anyway, the thing that bothered me about Kobe was when he hit that towel out of the towel boys hands. Now that was very stupid in my opinion. What the ? That dude was just there to assist him and he hits the towel from his hand like a big spoiled baby? Funny how the commentators didn't talk about that. That bothered me.
It's funny how everyone is so sensitive.
Yeah, Kobe is a . That towel boy didn't deserve that. Here he was trying to keep him dry.
I hope that kid goes Adam Sandler on his ass one day.
I just love that SIG., do you have in a gif!??
you need to fix your sig. for the sake of AD.

I don't really care what he said..
I respect his game, he's arguably the best in the NBA..it doesn't change the fact that he's a rapist, he's thrown teammates under the bus, he ratted Shaq out to the police for absolutely no reason, he arguably cost the Lakers a le in 2004..
any knowledgeable basketball fan can tell you he isn't even close to Shaq or Duncan for the le of "best post-MJ"..talent-wise? yes, of course..he's better than both..but when it comes to impacting the game, Duncan and Shaq have both been better..
Duncan has him beat in individual accolades, playoff performances(especially the finals, where Kobe has played below his season standards in every year), and the fact that he has 4 les as a #1 option..
Shaq is one of the most dominant players of all-time, and has 3 les as a #1 option, and another 1 as a #2..
Kobe fans will point to the same old ..Kobe's a great scorer, and it's impressive that he led an average supporting cast to the playoffs..but the fact that he's choked in EVERY finals, and has even cost his team a le in 2004 hurts his legacy..it'll continue to be the same until he can lead a team to a le, which he hasn't been able to do..
Thanks for posting this, polandprzem.
Add this to the list of reasons I can't stand Kobe.
His arrogance is just too much.
Were you saying this same thing when the Pacers beat the Lakers? what about when they almost beat them a 2nd time...if not for a crap call against Granger.
Are the Pacers on the Lakers level?
If the Lakers and Pacers played each other in the playoffs it would be a compe ive series.
Matchups matter more than W/L ratios. Why do you think GSW was able to knockout DAL?
Dr.House is an idiot..
his reason that we can't beat LA is because we're a "jump shooting team", we have no interior D, and we can't stop Kobe..
Indiana is 28th in interior D, they have absolutely nobody that can guard Kobe(they lost a game because they stuck Jack on him LOL), and they're 6th in the NBA in 3-point attempts..
his stupidity amazes me every time he posts..he's just an insecure Laker fan..
The problem with beating the Lakers is having to deal with bitter sonofa es like you the day after...
We beat your sorry ass team. The only team in the West that has a winning record against your team is the better team: The San Antonio Spurs.
Drill it in your head...
OMG ... coming from you this is incredibly funny. You said the exact opposite when we brought up our back court against yours. Then, you cried and said matchups don't matter.
Are you stupid? Seriously did the doctors play handball with your head at birth?
Indiana doesn't compete with LAL because they are defensive juggernaut. Their defense is horrible. They compete with LAL because their offense is really ing good. They can score 100+ ppg just as easily as the Lakers can. It's always a shootout when we play them and that's the way they like to play.
It's no wonder they banned you at RealGM.
The Spurs need to prove they can beat LAL when it matters, in the playoffs. Regular season don't mean as you aren't getting HCA anyways. 4-1.
Reading comprehension. You lack it.
I said you cannot take a team's players and then break down the individual 1-1 matchups and predict the winner that way. That's not how basketball works.
And that has nothing to do with what I said about team's matching up with one another and W/L ratios.
We beat you in '03, with Shaq and got the ring. We won two more since then. If there's a team that need to prove they can win without Shaq is the Lakers.
Last 3 NBA champions coming from the Western Conference: Spurs/Spurs/Spurs.
Now take the loss like an adult, and STFU.
That has nothing to do with the Spurs beating the Lakers. The Lakers were rebuilding in those years anyways, which is what your team will be doing for a long time when Duncan and Pop retire.
Phil Jackson has the edge over Pop. in the playoffs. Always has, always will.
Bull . The Lakers were rebuilding starting in '05, when Shaq was traded. And Pop already beat Phil in the playoffs. And FWIW, we already went through a rebuilding process with Pop and Tim at the helm. It happened between '99 and '03.
You need to get better informed before come around trolling here, especially about your own team. Happens all the time with bandwagon fans...
What does it matter if the shot was a BS shot Kobe? All that matters is that the ball goes in the basket.![]()
Lakers and their fans remind me a lot of the '07 mavs which is a soft ass team that acts like they are already champs when they haven't won yet. The spurs don't have to prove to the lakers they have already won 3 les with their big 3 whereas Kobe hasn't still won without Shaq. This year is make or break for Kobe's legacy if he doesn't get it this year I don't ever see him winning a le without Shaq. It reminds me of the crossroad Duncan face in '04-'05 where he had to answer his critics about being able to win without David Robinson.
That mav's team has the best record back then, right? Uhm what round in POs did they make their exit?
