I'm giving her a pass & I am not a fattie. I saw something yesterday that said she went down to a size 2 for "The Dukes of Hazards" and now she's a size 8. The average woman today is a size 14. That hardly makes her a fattie. She just chose a very unflattering style of clothing to wear tight. She still looks great.

Jessica breaks her silence.

Taking the concert stage for the first time since the controversy over her curves erupted, Jessica Simpson opened up to her fans Thursday night.

"Thank you for your support," she told a Charlottesville, VA, crowd at the end of her set, says People.com. "Stay positive, and pray out loud! I love you guys, good night."

People.com says the buxom blonde crooner -- opening for Rascal Flatts -- sported tight, black leather pants and a V-neck T-shirt.

"Please remember, no matter what you go through in life, somebody else might have it harder," Jessica also told the crowd, according to People.com. "So just appreciate."

"I feel like in our world today we focus on so many things that are completely pointless," she added.

Good for her. But if you make a decent living shaking that ass you should be prepared for your ass to be scrutinized even if you are more famous for your hooters.
