I can't tell if my favorite part is that he glided through the air like the Manu of a decade ago or the fact that he almost jumped too high and hit the back of the rim.

if we take a closer look, armstrong was not really intent on blocking manu. armstrong is actually after manu's crotch, just look at where his left hand is heading. and look at his facial expression- pure bliss. LOL

Manu Ginobili also had 22 points, including a poster-worthy dunk over David Armstrong that made the home crowd erupt. After all, the emphatic jam isn't what Spurs fans are used to seeing.

"It took me 45 games, but it finally came,'' Ginobili said. "I'm glad that I could finally explode and go hard at the rim and get a nice dunk.''

It's not just the elevation that's great--it's watching his defender fruitlessly following him, left in the dust four feet behind.

That's what was missing during the first part of the season. Forget the dunk, it's the fact that Manu is now getting to the rack almost at will. That's key for us.

The best part was he used his other arm when coming down to stabilize himself causing armstrong to eat the hardwood.

In the replay, I think Manu's ankles were lucky coming down.

Watch how he lands only on his right foot showing us the sole of his shoe. I wonder if his left ankle would have survived so well?

    whew!

Not only did Manu figuratively slap him with his lefty dunk, but it looks like he's about to literally slap Armstrong with his right hand!
Manu: Never, ever, try to block me again, here me, here me, here me!?!

Wow, that was great. I think I prefer the Diop facial, bu this was also damn good.

I think we might just be getting spoiled lately....first Tony breaking Barbosa's ankles....now Manu posterizing Hilton Armstrong....kinda makes me excited to see what is next. Hmm...maybe Tim will do a 360 DUNK!!!! On second thought...maybe not.

I noticed that too it was a little bit scary, It looked like he was going to twist his ankle at the landing

He's rounding back into full form WAY too early for me. He was the best player in the league for a month last year too. Four months is a long time for him to be throwing his body around.

Manu should have been in the dunk contest since his rookie season. Period. And I said it back then too.
