This stat is just like Amare's stats...lots of shots, not much difference.

"Obviously though this definition means a shot may not actually be a game winner -- it may only tie a game (if down two points) or it may allow enough time for the opponents to get a game winning shot of their own. "

Which player in the NBA would you want taking a shot with the game on the line?
    1. Kobe Bryant -- 88.9%
Others receiving votes: Gilbert Arenas, LeBron James, Paul Pierce
You keep throwing this up like public opinion is fact. Come on now Al.

Notice how I said "fully healthy".

3 rotation players out != fully healthy
Please show me where, in the phrase I quoted from you, says that?

I wish the NBA would quit pampering Gasol....He gets away with so much contact. Then he makes that ugly face when they finally do call a foul on him. I want to know when he became an NBA God....

Not even Kobe gets the love from the refs that Gasol gets

The Spurs will not beat a healthy Laker squad, we saw what happened in the last game.
Yeah, and we saw what happened in the game in SA as well. Big woopty doo, you were missing two players.

Gasol gets away with contact now? I thought he was a Euro-soft pussy. Make up your mind Spur fan, you're beginning to sound bi-polar.

Damn the Lakers offense is absolutely phenomenal and clicking on all cylinders right now. It's beautiful to watch.

Can't wait for Bynum to get back to help anchor the D. The Lakers are looking extremely strong right now even without him playing.

Way to generalize all Spurs fans. I speak for myself, not the Spurs nation. Gasol gets away with murder. He hacks, goes over the back, pushes on rebounds, etc and gets away with all of it. Then when he is on offense, the refs are constantly bailing him out.

I just dont understand why that soft ass pussy gets so much love from the refs.....especially when he is on the defensive end.

First: I don't know what you're trying to say... Amare? lots of shots?... really, don't get it.

Second: So a poll where probably all of those 88.9 % are Lakers fans is more important than an objective, decently thought, game production based stat?

Odom has all that talent and such a great skillset......but he is just so damn inconsistent. Just think how scary the Lakers would be if Odom were consistent.

It's clear the offensive chemistry between Kobe, Gasol, and Odom is off the charts. Way better than it is with Bynum in there.

Still, I'd take Bynum's defense first. Especially in the playoffs.

Amare puts up great stats, just like LeBron's 24 second performance. But those stats don't come with wins.

And those are NBA GM's voting, not the public "Laker fans".

"NBA.com posed these questions and more to the league's general managers"
