And as simple as that it's back to 4.

However, we do look tired and out of sorts tonight.

Parker can penetrate at will, and they have no-one to slow Timmy down, but it's a question of whether they'll have the legs in the 2nd half or not.

Also, so many ticky-tack calls in this game, all going their way, as is the bounce of the ball.

    2nd half should be interesting.

Spurs got ass raped by the refs in the 2nd Q. Spurs didn't help their case by shooting a million jump shots.

Down 6. It could be worse considering how bad some of them played.

Like I said Spurs look shockingly bad.

And, No Eric, Mason has been average lately. He was awful most of the Boston game. Of course he was brilliant at the end though.
No they don't, they look TIRED. And fair enough.

Still, it's a 6 pt game and they are a second half team this year. We shall see what Pop does in the scond half - winning this game will largely be up to his decisions I think.

Yeah I agree. The Spurs considering all the bricks thrown up AND being screwed by the refs in that quarter are lucky to be down only 6.

Some of Mason's shots are going half way down and coming out. Just in a slump right now. I hope he keeps shooting.

Just because you don't know him you assume he's a stiff? I hate that sort of arrogance - he's not a bad player, and tonight he's been great.

Whilst using the word "raped" is vulgar and unnecessary, the calls have gone to the Raps and the Spurs have missed about 12 open jumpers.

I will not use the tired excuse Ruff. Every other team in the NBA has to play through it. Will not use the tired excuse.

Him being about third or 4th on the depth charts of the second worst team in the eastern conference makes him a stiff.

Eh, if the Spurs get more agressive, then the calls will start going their way.

All season I've been explaining to the cliff-jumping wankers around here (you know who you are) that we are a second half team against lesser opposition, that we'd spark in the second half, turn up the intensity and win the game. Just about every time I've been right (the exception would be Milwaukee, but they are an exception in and of themselves - they have our number somehow?!).

However, today is a danger game and I won't make the same claim I usually do. We look tired, it's the last game before the break (often a mental letdown game), and we can't do a thing right by the refs, so I see us as a 50-50 proposition to win this when usually in a game like this I'd be saying we are a lock.

It all depends on whether TP has the legs to keep penetrating, and what pop can coax out of the bench.

    Fingers crossed.
