The last two games should be a signal to the FO that the supporting cast is that bad. Even with the surprise addition of Gooden late in the season, the supporting cast is worthless. Duncan and Parker play ty in Game 3 and the Spurs get blown out. Duncan turns in 25, 10, & 7, TP plays at his best, and they still lose in Game 4. Sure, coaching decisions were a factor, but when you have that kind of production out of those two and with your opponent not really blowing up, there are some real problems.
Yes, Manu being available would result in a different series, but he isn't. I guess the Spurs are content to win enough in the regular season to make the playoffs and then after that who cares?
