Um, Shaq has been to the finals twice without Kobe and had to beat some really good teams (the Bulls with Jordan, the Pistons in 06) to get there.

Kobe was gift-wrapped a le thanks to injuries to mulitple teams and STILL nearly screwed it up.

How do you need 7 games to defeat the Yao-less, McGrady-less rockets? Or how do you explain his crappy performance in game 2.

UM GENIUS ...Shaq has been to two Finals without Kobe ... won one. WIth a TON of support from Alonzo on defense and Wade on offense. He got swept in the other. Kobe has NEVER been swept in the FINALS ...
IF he wins he has same number of les as Shaq same # of MVp's

Nothing will really change for me. Name me a time he was the underdog and overacheived. It just seems he always has had the most talent around him and has consistantly underacheived when the favorite vs having success when he was underdog.

His accomplishments just aren't that impressive.
