where doesn't that fit into the Suns' basketball gameplan?
Terrence Kinsey then. I'm just saying you as a Suns fan will get a guy you won't be thrilled with getting if the trade goes down. I didn't even look at the contract, I just threw a name out there. Either way as a Suns fan you won't be happy if it goes down. I wouldn't be happy to be a Suns fan if my team traded Shaq for Ben Wallace and another one of Cleveland's scrubs
where doesn't that fit into the Suns' basketball gameplan?
Visit a Suns message board then and you'll laugh. Most Suns fans are dumb enough to think they'd be better if Shaq was traded for nothing.
The way it works is only stupid s from the ghetto who have crack moms and pussy Canadians who whine when a coach makes them play defense are allowed to play half assed unmotivated basketball. If you aren't one of those two types of people, Kerr expects you to play defense and not be bothered at all by the fact the got Canadian who refuses to give you the ball in the post doesn't have to.
I'm just throwing names out there. All I'm saying is that you probably won't get getting anyone to be excited about and to build the team around. You probably just get Ben Wallace and some filler.
This is what I'm saying. The Suns want a big piece to excite the fans to not piss them off about trading Shaq, but the problem is the Suns need salary relief more than the Cavs need Shaq. So when the Suns are asking for Lobstar Tar Tar they will get a TV Dinner
I'm not expecting anyone exciting in a Cleveland Phoenix trade. Most of this is just my frustration with Nash-Antoni loving gots that Kerr tries to appease and in the process makes horrible moves.
The reason Lebron shouldn't go to NY is it'll be impossible to win a championship with Nash and Antoni in town.
yeah I don't think he is going there and that is one of a couple reasons.
I will say though that this Shaq trade is a long ways away because I can't believe that Shaq was #1 on the Cavs' list this summer. I think they will play out all of their options they have and if they don't pan out then they will come back to the Suns. I can't imagine the Cavs trading away their 2 best trade assets in one deal for a 37 year old Shaq with only 1 year left on his deal.
Well I just read an article saying that the Suns have announced they won't trade Shaq just to save money.......given Sarver's track record that means a trade with Cleveland is imminent.
Oh really you in got, tell me why anyone would team up with the no defense gots, Antoni and Nash, if they want to win a championship.
And then Nash would whine about how he wasn't having enough fun, then Antoni would realize that if he wanted to continue his gay relationship with Nash, he needs to tell Lebron Nash is the best player on the team. Ultimately the team falls apart so bad that NY fans wish Isiah was still coach.
To be fair, the Suns should have had a le in 2007.
Amare broke a rule. If he had a real coach that had the players trained and knew what to do in that situation, it wouldn't have happened. No reason Amare had to break that rule.
But if not for a technicality, the Suns could have won with their run and gun style of play. So technically it IS possible, just like the Mavs very well could have won in 2003 if Dirk didn't go down. Just because the ball bounced the other way doesn't mean it couldn't have very easily happened. That's the only point I'm making.
The undisciplined run and gun system Antoni coached was directly related to the team's undisciplined reaction to the altercation. One had something to do with the other. If the Suns were a disciplined defense oriented team the players would have stayed in the bench area.
And even if the above post is wrong, how do we know the Suns win game 5? If they were the better team, why didn't they win game 6?
When you have 2 good teams, throwing even just one game is pretty crippling. Maybe they just had an off game in game 6 coming off the discouragement of game 5. If they win game 5, the probably roll into game 6 with alot of confidence. One game has a big influence on how the rest of the games play out. To answer your question, no one will ever really know, but I take the Suns.
I think run and gun CAN win a championship with just the right pieces, but typically it's not the best way to go. It's not really my forte, but I do kind of missing having a run and gun team around to watch sometimes.
I agree that a run and gun team is fun to have around, as long as it's not my team.
Be careful arguing with DoK, he'll drag you down to his level, and beat you.
Glad you understand.
Thanks.
That Would Be sum Bull if Shaq is gonna say it
I'm not too keen on Shaq, just at his age and a potentially injury riddled year. But the Cavs don't have very many assets to acquire a good young big or current All-Star. This may be the best option but not until after the Cavs play the field.
