Last night, my AC finally shut off at 11:57 PM. It went back on 4 minutes later.

Ya, but it's supposed to rain for the next 10 days. And -20 is a distinct possibility for a few days in the winter.

It's funny, though, 80 and humid is considered to be quite uncomfortable here. I suppose 80 and humid here is like 90 or 95 and humid in SA, at least as far as perception of the natives is concerned.
