From a purely marketing and financial standpoint. Of the two Rockets superstars, Yao brings in far more revenues than T-Mac. Plus T-Mac threw the team under the bus when he rode the Laker's nuts.

of course he will choose to stay in houston for 10-11 season, and more importantly, the 16 million dark green pieces of papers. Dude is already done and there won't be any team willing to pay him that decent money, though the Rockets are expected to come back great in several seasons despite the big garbage contract.
