Well , there's nights where Manu isn't shooting either (but has 10 assists), let's fire him too.

    It's over 66% in the 2nd and 3rd quarters.

That pretty much sums up the Spurs play on the road since Duncan went down. Warriors, an offensive powerhouse have 82 points with 3 minutes to go in the third period. Popp needs to get this team refocused on defense. Yes I know they are exhausted from last night and thats ok. This isnt the first game we have had this issue and its also not the last back to back. Lets get that defensive intensity back guys. Bowen doesnt even seem to care on D anymore.

Just to play devil's advocate, if we were shooting 50% from the field we'd be up by 12 at this point.

Spurs up their FG% to 39% but Warrior up theirs to 52%.

Why do these lottery teams shoot so damn high against the Spurs? Blazers, Clippers, Warriors all shot well over 50%.

When two teams have equal caliber defenses, the team with the best offense wins. It's happened to us 3 out of the last 5 years.

Lakers defense could touch ours with a 10 foot pole last year. Our offense just went into complete hibernation after the first two games.

It didn't go into hibernation, we stopped running what worked during the regular season when Pop's pucker factor increased.

For whatever reason, it was our offense and not their defense.
