Great game by del Potro, even if Nadal wasn't at 100 %. If the Argentine plays that great against Federer, it should be a very interesting match.

As for Federer, he once again was there when it counted most and made the important points against Djokovic.

Ha ha, Manu is a Del Potro fan: "Great Del Potro vs Nadal. 6-2/6-2. One more and to the USOpen final!" from Twitter.

Awesome victory for DelPo. I really like him. He's made steady improvement in his game for quite a while now. Hopefully he's able to continue that and be a challenger for the top spot for several years.

I'm a Fed fan, he introduced me to tennis. But a great match by Delpo. I wasn't too sad that he won.

Roger looked like he finally ran out of gas after the year he has had while DelPo gained strength as the match went on.

I want to know why this 6'6" Argentine does not play basketball!

Roger lost his composure at the middle of the match yelling at the umpire....

Wow, this was a great game overall and an incredibly strong and mentally mature performance by del Potro.
Roger should have won the second set, but the longer the match went on, the better del Potro became. As happy as I would have been for Federer, it was just great to watch the Argentine win this one as well.

What's with the CBS bag ?

Del Potro wanted to say something in Spanish, and the CBS guy was like: " I'm afraid we're gonna run out of time "

But Potro ended up doing his speech in Spanish anyway

I think it's cool that some of the sports invincibles have shown a little in their armor. First Tiger in the PGA championship choking away a 54 hole lead and now Federer allowing himself to get frustrated in a Grand Slam final. It brings them down to earth a little bit. And it shows that even the greats aren't perfect.
