they had CP3 and playing great. again they took spurs to 7 games. apples and oranges. Unless you think this blazer team can take spurs to 7 games.
Well there is a difference: a 2nd seed has a lot more chances of making it to the second round than an 8th seed.

They took out the Mavs 'cause they were a better team and experience wasn't a factor. That's what I'm saying.
This Blazers team could have definitely took that Spurs team to seven games.
I am saying the Blazers are NOT a better team than the mavs, they are pretty much on same level, so experience WILL be a factor.
and my question was about this years teams.
YAY! THE SEASON HAS BEGUN!
And while the knee-jerk/circle-jerk threads are quite amusing, I will say with delight that I was thrilled to see both the Cavs and the Mavs lose their home openers. It was like Christmas.
Well IMO the Blazers are a better team than the Mavs with or without experience.
And no I don't think this Blazers team can take this Spurs team to 7 games but that has nothing to do with what we're arguing.
The Blazers are going to KILL the Mavs this year. The ONLY team that is comparable to Portland is the Lakers and that's being generous.
