I'm disappointed in your lack of new material. You and I both know the Mavs won't do diddily squat this year. They beat a lame team last year. Not even the Lakers could have survived Bryant on one leg and Pau out.

in terms of laker fans ammunition, all they got is jefferson leaving his chick in the altar and the 4-1 by the mavs.

Spurs fans on the other hand have Kobe is a rapist, he's a jackass, Bynum is a bust, gasol collusion, Artest will blow up the team and is a nutcase, their bench sucks, Dfish is 400 years old, refs always help the lakers, kobe mailed it in vs the phx in that series, and blah blah blah, sure they've lost the kobe can't win a ring without shaq, but they have so so much ammunition against the lakers, whether they choose to stoop down to culburn's level, is a matter of choice...

so honestly, can't blame culby for posting the same thing over and over again, since he ain't got that much ammo vs spurs, if your pissed at him, just fire back with a kobe is a rapist post or any of the other million of post possible, even Kobe will never be MJ would suffice.

Don't be defensive as I am saying that spurs fans, if they wanted to browbeat laker fans as yourself, can use any of those, and there are still laker fans in denial with those accusations.

Silly or not, it does get mentioned in penis measurement threads.

For me it's all in good fun, and mindless banter anyway, hard to take anything written on spurstalk seriously anyway, and for me your stating a fact that the spurs were 4-1'd by the mavs which is true.

I think the annoyance from spurs poster in the 4-1 topic stems from the fact that they feel confined in the sense that they CANNOT do anything to change that fact or even refute it because it did happen. Also they are in no position to prove everyone wrong by beating the mavs 4-1, because they are not playing for the spurs, thus are incapable of proving their worth other than spouting mockeries of the other franchises, specially Oden and the lakers.

That's why at times I feel a Basketball Fan is far superior to a Team fan, just because they are able to see both sides of the situation and come up with logic arguments, rather than stating facts over and over again to gain any kind of advantage.

Hey culby you need to be who you are, or you will lose your personality and get lost in the sea of posters out there. It's your stamp to get noticed and that's fine. If Bynum is able to develop and stay healthy, there's no way the Spurs can handle the Lakers. I think even without Bynum, the Spurs would have their hands full with Gasol and Odom. Take away Odom and Gasol is also a tough matchup for the Spurs.

It's just the first game of the season. I'm just observing the fact that the Spurs didn't play well against a big who wasn't Hilton Armstrong. They are lucky that the Bulls didn't hit their shots, because this would have been a blowout.
