More important than the finals?
reading comprehension?
There's really no definitive answer. I just think it's more prudent to consider long-term solutions as opposed to short-term. And Vince is obviously the short-term option.
Cultivating young, talented players and allowing them to mesh over the course of 3-4 years is not a common opportunity.
I'm a little lost.....I'm saying the ECF were no more important than the finals.....how are they more important.
"And that "one series" was the most important series he'd ever played in with the Magic."
He hadn't played in the finals yet...cause at the time, he was playing in the ECF. And at that time, it was the most important series he had ever played in with the Magic.
This is stupid
I said it the day the signing happened and I will say it for the 100000000000000 time. I HATED LANDING SHEED BECAUSE HE IS A LAZY SON OF A THAT JUST JACKS THREES! This is deja vu of ing Antoine Walker. Man I wished we could have landed Mcdyess. Sheed.
Well, you did call it. I hate my team just being lazy and settling for threes when there's still time on the clock to work the ball into the post, or reposition for a better high percentage shot.
My dad and I both agreed that if Sheed starts oh for three in a game, Doc should bench him as soon as he jacks up the fourth one.
at people saying Dirk is a pussy for not getting into the post.
+1. If it ain't broke, don't fix it.
He just needs the Lakers. He's sees them down there on the other side of the scorer's table and he turns right around. Gets down in the post. And I mean the low f'in post. That little square down there. His foots in the gd thing against us. & he makes his 3's like shaved pussy. The f'in hump.
Sheed needs to work the post and keep his 3pt attempts down to 2 a game. He's old, but not so old that he has to leave the post completely.
Definitely. Really, he's cost us two games this season with bad three taking. (0 for 5 in one, 0 for 8 in this).
He has been open for a good amount of the threes, but when you miss your first three threes, don't keep jacking them up.
His problem is he's limitting himself mentally by thinking he's old. He is old. But now he's on a team that he doesn't have to play 30+ minutes on. No need conserving energy by just standing by the 3pt line. Think Mutumbo. Old as dirt, but could still play defense at a high level because he knew he only has to go all out for 10 minutes a game.
Good point here.
No need for Sheed Boston has super Perkins the new 20 10 guy
Watch Sheed go 6-7 from three tonight.
I'd bet on Matt Bonner to do that before I'd put money on 'Sheed.
My prediction for 'Sheed tonight: 0-5
Carter for Hedo gives Orlando more upside even if there's more potential for downside, and thats what they needed. If they'd come into this season with the same team from last year they weren't winning anything.
I was steepin' on the Carter teabag first.
I just want to make sure we all understand that. I was first.
Agreed.
Rasheed was a winner at some point in his career rather than a coattail rider.
