ahha im actually HOPING this happens...the nba will be a joke the next 4 years if it DOESNT happen...
that team might take us to 6 games.....and some of the games might be close....
they would not be a contender tho against la
Last I checked the Lakers were down two starters that year.
But hey enjoy watching Dirk never win a![]()

I still think Lebron goes to NJ but if it's Bosh or Wade that goes with....
They would destroy you
You might be right. We'll have to see if Lebron can actually post up Derek Fisher this year.
suuuureee.
love the sig btw man....he is going to destroy floyd....
Wtf have you been watching this year? It may be "improved," but he still looks horribly uncoordinated in the post
u scared.
Imagine if they both went to the Nets
Harris
Wade
Lebron
Favors
Lopez

I don't see it happening because which one of them would be the established #1 guy? Are they going to be happy sharing the credit? And like 21 Blessings said, which one is going to take the paycut so they can both sign with a team?
The salary cap is probably expected to drop even lower next year, so a team like the Knicks can only sign one max player. If Bron is so fat and happy from his endorsement money, why hasn't he taken less money from the Cavaliers so they can go out and get his Pau Gasol? And where would they play together?
Cleveland? Wade is leaving winters in Miami for Cleveland?
New York? Who is taking the paycut so the Knicks can sign both?
Miami? Is Bron going to step into a situation where that's Wade's team and Wade is the fan favorite?
I wouldn't be shocked if this happened, but money talks, and these guys egos are tied to their salary.
LOL Artest vs. Bron...Bron will get his but won't dominate...
Kobe vs. Wade.....AHAHAHA
Fisher/Shanwow/Farmar vs. Chalmers... Is Chalmers really going beat us??
Drew vs. MLE Big... AHaha....let's call it a wash
Pau vs. Beasley AHAHHAH love it
And games aren't won like this. Lakers pieces fit like a fukin puzzle. Lebron and wade is like trying to run your gas off of fukin piss.... aint goin work playa
No premier FA is going to the Nets until they move to Brooklyn and get the ownership situation settled.
It sounds like a cool pairing; until you look at how they play.
Tony Parker and Richard Jefferson struggling to adapt to each other is a pretty good indicator of why this wouldn't work. LBJ & Wade are much more talented but they still face the same problem...they both like the same spots on the floor.
And I also can't think of any successful 1-2 combos that didn't have a post player.
I think this move will ruin both their careers but I'm more than happy to wait it out for the outcome.
Forcing LBJ & Wade into roles they're not accustomed to is not going to beat a Lakers team with players very well matched to their skillset at each position.
Isn't it already confirmed they are moving to Brooklyn. And the ownership situation could be settled soon.
I still don't think any of this will happen, but its funny seeing Laker fan getting scared.
I think the NBA will PUSH for this to happen just for the sake of the league....dominance is good but when the Lakers win the next 4 or 5 les in the row.....that will drive ratings down the fukin drain.....and a ton of fans will be turned away from the league and using the "fixed officiating" as an excuse cuz their teams front office is a fukin joke compared to LA!
Assuming the team is Miami, neither will have to take a paycut.
Lebron can sign first. If Miami resigns Wade, they can go as high as the max since they have his rights.
This of course assumes that the owner is willing to go balls out into Luxury Tax territory but for a pair like that, who wouldn't?
This is what I was thinking. The Nets are getting a top 4 pick (probably 1), and could do a number of things, from drafting Wall and trading Harris to just drafting a power forward and adding LeBron and Wade (LeBron has ties to Jay Z or whatever his name is).
LeBron and/or Wade with Brook Lopez...now THAT would be impressive.
Nope. The new arena is still in the blueprint drawing stage.
I just wonder if LeBron is willing to enter into that situation where Wade is the guy who has won the le there and it's his franchise. I think there could be territorial issues. They may be friends, but they both also have gigantic egos.
No chance BOTH go to NJ...pretty sure they can only offer 1 max.....no way they take that muhc of a paycut
And not for such a failure of a franchise. It would be one thing if they're playing in a shiny new arena in Brooklyn, but that's years away, if ever.
Given the fact that the salary cap is estimated to go down a few more million, the only team currently able to offer two maxes would be the Heat. They have the salary cap room to get Lebron with a max offer, and they can ignore the cap to resign Wade via his Bird rights.
New York/NJ can enter the picture if a few more moves are made (particularly NY since they're looking to unload Curry/Jeffries). They both currently can offer one max and one VERY close to max (the exact amount depends on the cap at the end of the year).

Guys, the Heat can sign both players to a max contract (James will always have to take a pay-cuy if he leaves Cleveland, as Wade will if he leaves Miami), but it doesn't work that way. Until you sign your own free-agents, you are stuck with their cap-holds, that in Wade's case is enormous. If they renounce Wade in order to get rid of the hold, they'd lose his rights. So, they'll have to re-sign Wade first and then sign LeBron James with the remaining cap-space. They can't simply "ignore the cap", that would be too easy (if cap holds didn't exist, it's theoretically possible for a team to have its entire roster become free agents at the same time, have their entire cap to spend on other team's free agents, and then use Bird rights to re-sign their own ones afterwards).
The Nets have cap-space to sign them both as well and many other teams, like, say, the Rockets, can still create enough cap-room to sign them both to max-contracts if they want to.
