I don't remember what he said exactly, but I liked when Sean was talking to him about how special his performance was but that it was messed up by the refs, that it could have been something really special, and Blair just said "I'll be alright" or something to that effect.
Practically a 30-20 game in just over 30 minutes, which is amazing in and of itself, but the fact that the refs jobbed him from gaining more didn't phase him. When he said "I'll be alright" it was almost like he was tellin Sean "Don't get too upset, I'll do it again"
Which is the at ude a guy like him needs.
Watching his defense tonight and his rotations compared to earlier in the year is just night and day. His rapid progression in the system is just remarkable.
Dammnnn I just read the boxscore, this is awesome, 28 in points!!!
me too man.
good work grizzly Blair
Did Duncan ever put those numbers in 31 minutes? I was looking at some stats but I only found better numbers in games where he played 40+ minutes.
I think the closest Duncan got to those numbers in his rookie season, was against Minnesota, when he had 28 points and 19 rebounds in 36 minutes.

Beautiful performance
I am glad he is a Spurs!
Blair is slowly approacing the point where he can be considered one of the Spurs greatest late picks, together with Tony and Manu.
I think he's still quite a ways from that, just we still have to see what happens when the rest of the league gets a book on him. But he's definitely going to present nice matchup problems, especially if he starts getting calls down low.
Photoshop of the year candidate in my book!
Lovin' it
Post of the year so far![]()
From the moment I first saw highlights and clips of DeJuan Blair after the Spurs drafted this kid I knew he was going to become something special to watch.
The officials robbed this kid of something remarkable and he just shrugs it off. Spur material from the get go. I predict we'll see it happen in the near future.
You can't teach instinct, great hands, and heart.
When was the last time the spurs had a half hispanic, half black guy on the roster? Man, this kid is good.
The closest one was Carl Herrera but he was all hispanic and all black.
amazing performance last night. props to him for being ready and focused after getting almost no burn against LA.
Hey OKC....hows that ass taste???????
