Forgot about this thread. Business is booming. Started off working 7 days a week with minimal sleep and now we've hired a few people and I got my weekends and evenings back. This was by far the most intelligent move I've ever made.

Was I supposed to be bad off? I was miserable at my last job and I wanted out.

But to be more specific when the credit market dried up sales went down and I was making considerably less than I did the prior 5-6 years. I wasn't well to do by most standards.

I don't know what you consider well off.
