I can answer that from my opinion.....
Skita was a bust and Kiki finall realised it and got rid of him and white for Najera, Flores and a 1st round pick ..
All us Nuggets fans (well most) are happy skita is one and we get a great hussle player in Najera (who is still recovering from his broken hand but should be alot better by game 3).
As for Melo and Wade...........Wade is only as good as he is now because of shaq........... its simple, shaq clogs the lane and Wade can hit J's or cut when he wants to while the other team is doubling up on Shaq. Any guard can improve when Shaq comes to their team. Just like if you guys didnt have Duncan well then your guards wouldnt be as good (as we have seen with his injury).
Shaq is the difference in Miami, not wade.
Melo had a tough first half of the season but he is starting to mature and actually picking his game up by being more of a team player.
Id still rather Melo over Wade , time will tell

Dude, wade carried the heat to the playoffs... But, since you are a Nuggets fan, you probably did not watch the playoffs... I really do not know the answer to this, so I will ask. Who was the ROY last year, wasn't it wade?

Wade didn't start but 16 games last year and they were all at the end of the season. He was great in the playoffs and I will admit that Shaq has given him more fame but IMO with or without Wade was destined to have a great second season.
I see your point, shaq has allowed Wade to grow. But wade was playing some great ball last year without shaq.
The question I have, is do you think that mellow has not capitized having good post players?
To me it does not seem that he has raised his game this year over last year.

Melo also carried the Nuggets to the playoffs last season in a much harder conference, he should have been ROY but they gave it to the Lebron ( the NBA making sure they get as much $$$ as possible again ) .
Wade was 3rd in the ROY votes, Melo and Lebron had better stats than Wade...... but now he has Shaq in the middle and he can get alot more easy looks now.......... if Shaq left , after a while Wades numbers would drop again.

i think in the first half of the season under coach Buzz and coop, Melo didnt have enjoyment for the game when we were losing, everyone was frustrated. He was in controversy off the court and He rolled his ankle twice and was tentative about going too hard on it for a while. He has his explosiveness back now and he is unstoppable when he is determined to get to the hole. That said, he needs to drive to the hole more and not settle for jumpers as much. Once he makes his mind up to get to the hole he is amazing but he needs to do it more on a regular basis.
I think he can only get better as time goes on......I think his game has raised the second half of the season in both offense and defense
