I talked to Hornet front office people. They were shocked when that story came out. They had not even heard of it.
Yeah, I talked to a few people too who said it didn't happen.

If the Spurs have to say not play to Parker I'd trade him right now.

In the summer of 2011 he will have to play again if he wants to stay in London 2012.And that means he could be in London 2012 too.

So he played last summer,he wants to play this summer,he will have to play in 2011 to qualify for the Olympic Games so he could play in 2012 too.

Trade now and don't resign Manu.Use that money to sign Bosh next summer.

All of this is BS people.
It's 100% sure that Parker will rest this summer.
I'm surprised that you still don't know the guy well.
He will be in his last year of contract he is capable of throwing FNT out to keep his value high.

I am begining to think that the incident where TP was flown back from Europe to check out his injury this past summer had lingering effects between TP and the Spurs FO. I think things have gone downhill from there. Slowly but Shurely. Just my two cents though.

One thing we can all be sure about is that Tony HAS MORE INTEREST THAN ANY OF US of having the best 2010-2011 season!!!!
This will be the last year of his contract and adding the new Collective B.. he'll have to be at his best to get a good contract...

Athough I personaly think he won't play next summer, even if he does, he'll "find a way" to be good next year...

This all makes good common sense. Tony playing this summer does not.

I agree with you, I think that "incident" reminded Tony, that despite everything he's done and the "weight" he has gained in the spurs over the years, he shoudn't expect any gifts or "indulgence" from the spurs FO because THIS IS STILL A BUSINESS !!!!

With Tony's hip hurting right now Pop ought to go ahead and rest him the rest of the season so he can be fresh for this summer.

Trade his ass right now before the deadline together with any combination of Boner, Mason and/or Finley.

What is this year? The World Championships? Do they even have a shot at winning it? Maybe Tony knows that they plan to unleash Ian on the rest of the world.

Jeez these reactions of some of you in here.

Unbelievable how dramatic and stupid some of your reactions can be. besides, first this doesnt mean . second, you should wait for a better source, who knows if he really said that and meant that? You have to hear what tony himself says in a real interview, press conference etc.. before jumping around like a bunch of crazy people all dramatic.

We dont even know and yet this little 'article' got you all going crazy.

I dont think tony is going to play this summer and even if he was, so what? Tony is Tony, our top player, has done so much, have some confidence. Saying such things are really crazy and unnecessary. Tony knows whats good for him, besides he already pointed out that going to play next summer is probably not such a good thing, because he is exhausted if he does so.

Deadline passed, details trickling in. Grizz backed off trying to move Mayo/Conley. Asking too much, sources say.
    Damn...missed opportunity.

Tony knows whats good for him
That's just fine. The Spurs know what's best for them, as well. If Tony plays this summer after playing through an assortment of injuries this entire season, trading him would be good for the Spurs.

Many of my friends here in San Antonio hate him. They think he's a ballhog and blame him for all that is wrong with the Spurs. They would love to see him go.

I always argue against them about his contributions to the Spurs. But this one is going to be difficult to defend.

Man, im just saying, we dont know and yet we are going crazy already. This article doesnt mean . No need for drama. Plus, he himself has already shown that its not the best option to play this summer. So have some confidence and wait.
