Speaking of Parker, wtf is he doing? Air ball layup. That's some Jared Jeffries right there.
Deja vu with Duncan. He's laboring to score, just like around this time last year. Parker is ailing and the team doesn't have another player capable of consistently scoring 20, so what we're seeing now is a mediocre offense in addition to the perpetually mediocre defense; not a good combination.
Offense is better but perimeter D sucks. We put no pressure on their Js
Exactly. Spurs are leaving Philly shooters wide open. Except Iggy, who's been covered pretty well. He's just hitting some nice shots.
As usual we need to crowd the shooters. We play off way too much and have been doing this all season.
Adam is gay...
Not true.
We really need some production from Blair.
I knew you would respond to that
I had to let it be known.![]()
Manu with the Manu-esque move!![]()
Manuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu and one!!
Spur players left RJ hanging out to dry on D.
that was some crap transition D. these guys act like they only have one leg.
So they've gone 9 deep so far, and no Mase?
Another offensive board for Philly....FML....
Dejuan Blair running his own fast break!![]()
I'm just following this game from Yahoo GameChannel, but I like Pop's rotations so far.
-The starting 5 is still weird, but when Bogans got 2 early fouls, he went to Jefferson at the 10:10 mark in the 2nd quarter.
-Then Parker was out for a bit with Hill running the point, and McDyess was the first big off the bench.
-Eventually this led to the ever-called-for lineup of Parker/Ginobili/Jefferson/Duncan/McDyess.
-Now, with about 1:30 left in the first quarter, Blair is the second big off the bench and is paired with McDyess.
Spurs up 26-25 after one
Strange first quarter. We played horrible and still have the lead. Philly really is in a funk.
Why is it that Pop cant recognize that the damn team starts to play better when Bonner and Bogans hit the bench....WTF?!?!?!
