Obviously not if you are Kerr or Gentry.
If Nash and Amare would be traded in the same year as Shaq was Phoenix could have loads of young players and picks right now.

Calm down about trading Amare Kamnik. Amare was a huge help to Dragic last night and stepped up big time to make it easier for him. However, if they traded Nash for that package Portland offered last summer (my guess is it was for Jerrod Bayless, Travis Outlaw and MAYBE Webster or Fernandez), they'd have a really nice young core of players to build around with amare. It would be sick to see Bayless and Dragic on the court together, a lot of athleticism in that back court.
I'm probably the biggest non-Slovenian Dragic fan on this site and I didn't even think he'd play so well this year. I expected an improved jumper, I didn't expect him to suddenly turn into a 40% shooter from long range, that's in ridiculous given how ty his jumper was last year. What's even more impressive about that is he did it while putting on muscle over the off season.
Also, good point about Manu. All these in Parker comparisons on draft day, Dragic seems a lot more like Manu than Parker, largely cause that step back J from the top of the key is vintage Ginobili.
