Our last 5 wins have come against all sub .500 teams, so we're automatically destined for the championship. We also beat a hampered Lakers team, and still have a point differential of barely 2.5 points. I'm also still butthurt over 2006 and 2007.

Yeah the Mavericks have been knocking over nothing but cupcakes over their win streak.

You've also established that Butler has been traded a couple times due to not being tough.

    lol you're re ed

A hampered LA team? We didn't have Butler or Damp, who were they missing?
We also beat the Magic in Orlando. And the Hawks in ATL. Start watching basketball before you come into this forum.

You guys have been missing damp for ages, Kobe was just coming back from an injury.

The Magic and ATL wins were nice no doubt, but it's hilarious how so many Mav fans think they're gonna win it all just because they're taking advantage of a soft spot in the schedule. A good team, no doubt, but definitely overrated by their fanbase. Though I suppose all fanbases overrate their teams.

There is no real reason to knock the Mavs at this point. They are playing the best ball in the league right now.

Just don't get frustrated when Mavfan runs smack and everything will be fine.

So? We were still the ones missing players. I like how you fail to mention Butler was out.

and lol at this being a "soft" spot. We are just getting to that spot. Chicago on the road without Jet, Damp and Haywood is no easy win, epically since it was on a b2b. Our only two big men were Dirk and Najera

The Mavs are playing well, but I think they'll come down to earth before the playoffs. They're a 2nd round exit

the mavs are playing great right now, but come playoff time carlisle will bench roddy "the truth" beaubois and play terry and barea heavy minutes. Won't be the same team.

Barea won't be playing heavy minutes. He is just the backup to Kidd. But we'll see what Carlisle does. It will be hard to not play Beaubois if he continues to play like this.

hairston is a way better defender then roddy

there both leapers and athletic though

roddy could be a good go to guy player because is a good shooter

hairston will be no more than a bruce bowen or trevor ariza if his shot gets better which is showing signs

Based off what? Their ability to self implode?
Not in the extreme the Nuggets do, not even close.

I'll take their chances against Denver, the biggest collection of dumb s in the NBA.
ROFL, this mutha a think Dallas beat Denver in the playoffs. Mutha a Denver only self implodes against the Lakers, get that straight. Better pray that KWart is done for the season otherwise history gon' repeat itself once more come playoff time. LMAO @ this fool obtaining false hope with the addition Caron "AIR" Butler and Brendon "WILT" Haywood. Nugz real scurrred.

Naa, the real answer is Malik "I suck" Allen. Balkman should get his minutes, but with Joey Graham and Allen on the bench, Karl won't even acknowledge his existence. I have no idea why the Denver FO gave Balk a contract extension if Karl won't play him.

We'll see, and obviously the trade is great for you guys, but this is still the Mavs with the same mentally soft core.
2006: Dirk, Josh, Devin, Stack, Dampier, Marquis and Terry

2010: Dirk, Kidd, Butler, Terry, Haywood, Marion and Dampier

So who is mentally soft? Dirk? Terry, the guy who plays with a broken orbital bone? Dampier, their sixth-best player?

vs. Phoenix, @ Orlando, @ Atlanta, vs. LA Lakers, @Chicago, @Charlotte. Yep, no quality W's in this "soft spot" in the schedule.
