I'm not sure of that.
When you look at Spurs recent moves, they have made a commitment to a lot of guards. In July they signed Green for $11.3M, De Colo for $2.9M and Mills for $2.2M. In October they picked a $1.1M option on Joseph contract. I just don't see Spurs keeping all these guards. While it's possible they only trim that logjam next summer by not re-signing Neal, Ginobili or Mills (if he opts out), they could also unload a guard at the trade deadline. To me, Neal is the best candidate to be traded because he has a good trade value and doesn't really fit with Spurs roster.
