Kansas, Georgetown, Villanova, and New Mexico all lose.
No one's bracket is worth anything any longer.
Michigan State has a good chance to make the Final Four again. If they beat Maryland they face this Northern Iowa team.
had kansas losing next round so helps me with almost everyone in our pool picking kansas. Helps MSU also if they can get by maryland.![]()
Plus Villanova.![]()
I didn't make a bracket this year, but surprisingly, a lot of people I know had them losing early.
haha yeah, all the upsets.

Uh did you watch this game? What makes you think State can beat Northern Iowa if they even get passed Maryland? State didn't even look good last night.
survive and move on. all that matters. this year should show us that anyone can beat anybody. who knows what will happen. last game means .
Im ed!!! Had Kansas winning it all.
I bet a team noone expected to win it all will take it this year. There are a lot of great mid-major teams.
Yes I did watch this game buddy. Yeah Northern Iowa played well, but I'll be really surprised if they make it to the Elite Eight. At the end of the day they are not as talented as the next team they will face (State of Maryland).
And Maryland will be tough, but Maryland isn't that spectacular. I'm not saying that State will make the Final Four, but Kansas's elimination makes things a lot easier.
Completely agree about Northern Iowa. They're not a fluke team, they do a lot of things well. With that said, assuming MSU beats Maryland, I know they'd much rather play Northern Iowa than Kansas.
Which is why I wouldn't say any team at this point has a "good chance" at making the final four. Certainly not State.
Kentucky's tournament to win now. Far and away more talented and complete than anyone else.
no, you're right. I don't think anyone has a "good chance" at even winning their next game, but just because a team played bad last game is not going to determine what they do in their next game either.
What's funny about this game is how much the Cook brothers out played the Morris brothers.
EDIT: I'm re ed. The morris brothers played well. Collins just sucks.
Sorry man. In the NCAA you always have to have a secondary team or else you will be disappointed a lot.
Anybody else you root for?
I don't know if MSU has a "good chance" or not but with KU out, their chances just got better. They have to get past a good Maryland team though. Then again, the way UNI is playing, who the knows?![]()
Whatever............I almost saw a huge upset with Missippi State in the finals of the SEC tourney. I saw a lot of holes in Kentuckys game. It was just the fact that Miss St. could not hit free throws at the end that Kentucky lucked out and won in OT. That game should have been over. Kentucky is just as vulnerable as any team out there. they only beat SHSU by 10...........102-92.![]()
OK so you're basing this off two games they won.....good job. Bitter about picking Kansas. lol UTSA.
Yep. I'm rooting for Wall and Kentucky but they are very vulnerable. At the end of the day John Wall can't hit the jumper consistently yet, so that will be a problem every round for them. In that game you are talking about, Kentucky got lucky that Wall's airball landed right into Cousins' hands.
+1 They are looking damn good.
