I did see Lebron kiss his mom as he left the floor after game 6 and then Delonte did the same thing. I thought it was strange at the time.
There's speculation that after LeBron got his MVP, there was a party for it and that's where Delonte got into Gloria's panties.
Lebron found out about it a few days later supposedly.

As of now it is 6:30 pm in cleveland. This rumor has been going for more than a day, so it befuddles me how nobody made an official statement. Usually impossible rumors are dismissed in a matter of hours especially those regarding people who DO NOT want such rumors such as lebron and cavs orgranization.
Hmm. A tabloid desperate for attention turning a harmless, friendly kiss into a full blown affair right around the time Lebron hysteria breaks out. That would never happen.
A friendly kiss? That's very unlikely. Teammate don't go up to another players mother and kiss them as they walk off the floor after losing a deciding game of a playoff series. That's not normal behavior at all. When I saw it I thought it was very strange. Now it's not so strange. Funny thing is he and Lebron swapped spit as Deltonte got sloppy seconds kissing Gloria James a few seconds after Lebron did.

Not sure. I just remember seeing both Lebron and then a few seconds later Delonte walk over to Lebron's mom and kiss her. If anyone has the game on their dvr they could check and see where the kiss was.
It's one of those stories that would lead me to believe the best thing they could do is not address it at all. It's a tabloid type story that if LeBron, the Cavs, or Delonte come out with an official statement to deny it, it would immediately give the story some legs and make them look like they're trying to hide the truth, whether it's true or not.
Ignoring it at least gives the veiled sentiment that it's just sensational, yellow journalism and not even worth responding to. That's a good thing whether it's true or false. I think they're smart not to address it at all.
When and if they finally do, I think it will be even more of a story then.
Maybe because its such a load of crap, such BS that doesnt even deserve a official statement?

LeBron James' attorney has fired off a cease and desist email -- finally denying the fast-spreading, and disturbing rumor of a sex scandal involving LeBron's mom and his teammate Delonte West.
TMZ obtained a copy of the email sent to terezowens.com -- the sports blog that first reported on Friday that LeBron's mother Gloria was allegedly sleeping with Delonte. In the email, Frederick Nance -- attorney for LeBron and Gloria -- says the report is "categorically false and per se defamatory." Nance adds, "No thinking person could possibly believe such rubbish."
The report -- which also spread as a viral email -- was supposed to explain the Cleveland Cavaliers' playoff loss to the Boston Celtics with this theory: LeBron finds out about Delonte and his mom before game 4 ... Cavs go on to lose games 4, 5, and 6 (and possibly LeBron).
The guys at terezowens tell us, "We think it's a little fishy that they waited almost 4 days to fire this off." They say they stand by their source, and they're consulting with their lawyers. The story is still up on their site ... for now.

Even if it turns out to be true, delonte and lebrons mom did nothing wrong. Watch 9 months later Lebron has a new baby brother.
