It's pretty gay to go out for dinner with your lady and YOU'RE the one eating a salad.
"There's no way the rest of the world tries to watch what they eat and go to the gym, I'll act like they're making this up because I know I'm never gonna watch what I eat or workout!"
It's pretty gay to go out for dinner with your lady and YOU'RE the one eating a salad.
I'm pretty sure women like men who are eating a salad to stay in shape more than men who eat a bacon double cheeseburger because they don't give a about how fat they are.
I wondered how long it would be before all the gay chants started.I just refuse to bust my tail in the gym everyday and sport a fat gut. Defeats the purpose imo.
I started the P90-X program after a co-worker burned me copies of all the dvd's, she had amazing success with the program. Started the program and thought I was going to be admitted to the hospital the first week. But, slowly my body began adjusting and really noticed benefits after 2-3 weeks.
My wife actually got jealous of the weight I was losing, and now she's getting ready to join me since I finished up a 90 day workout period about a week back, getting ready to do it all over again. Just make sure to take your time and not try to press yourself too much, could get you injured.
Yes, those are the only two possible options.
according to fatasses on here, you're just an internet tough guy that talks big but doesn't really work out and eat healthy.
also, since ur BPD are you more Carver or Daniels or Bunk?
I just like hearing other people who work out and what methods they try. I have no reason to lie. lol
Oh and I never watched the Wire so I don't know the characters.![]()
Neither does anyone in this thread, but doing things like watching what you eat and working out are unrealistic wet dreams everyone has so there's no way you're telling the truth. How many people actually try to avoid getting a coronary in their 40's?
I know. Its like "Oh if I don't have the discipline, or just plain don't want to eat right, clearly these people are lying and are overweight like I am" I have no problem with people who are overweight and eat whatever they want. Just don't bust my balls just because I choose to. There is some helpful tips in this thread that I am going to incorporate myself. Nobody here doesn't come off as claiming to be all world athletes that I saw?
If any of us were all world athletes we wouldn't need instructional workout videos
Tbh, I sometimes have a problem with people who are overweight and eat whatever they want. The rampant healthcare problem in this country has everything to do with how fat Americans are, and now because of Obamacare Americans who take care of themselves are gonna be paying through the roof in taxes because a bunch of fat asses need expensive medical care.
Has anyone done Insanity? Advantages to Insanity are no equipment required and it's a 60 day workout.
I hate they started taxing gym memberships
Bump
So anyone actually finish it that started it here? Thinking about getting started. Wanted to get an idea of the diet plan P90 makes you go by as that's usually the hardest part for me.
I lift 5 days a week and usually run a mile to 2 every other day at the gym. Gym gets boring after awhile though, 3 sets, 8-12 reps, 3 different exercises per body part tends to be what I do. Not fat by any means but I can stand to lean out a bit more (17-18% bf). A huge portion of my diet is rice, along with chicken and veggies. That's a majority of what I eat, but I eat a lot though, always have.
What dumbbell weights did you use? What was the diet plan like?
I never got the chance to finish it because of school/work at once (actually just started doing it again recently). After 30 days of doing it though I felt a huge difference in my flexibility/lung capacity/strength/energy level. I strongly recommend it. You also sound like the ideal person to start doing it.....you work out on a consistent basis, you're a little overweight but not fat/out of shape, and it's nothing like anything you'll do at the gym.
What weight of dumbbells were you using?
The best thing to use are those adjustable bowflex dumbells. At the time my stepbrother had some he needed to sell so I bought them off him for like 70 bucks but they're normally a lot more expensive. Those are what I used tho.
lol excuses![]()
I'm almost two thirds of the way through right now. Started my second recovery week today in fact. I started off thin except for a minor beer gut. Now I'm rail thin through the stomach and cut like I've never been before. Not saying that to brag, but just saying, the flat out works. I was amazed after three weeks at the change in my physique. It's an awesome program.
Even if you're fit, you'll need to take some time before you jump in. I was in decent shape, but I spent three weeks sore as , skipping/quitting workouts, having ty form and generally faking my way through it before I realized I'd really been failing and needed to start over. I did that and ever since, haven't missed even part of a workout. You can't half-ass your way through it. So I'd say spend a couple weeks familiarizing before you officially start. I also made a point to start on Sunday, cause as a product of the weekend, Sat is the one day I'd like to be able to rest and go out and do , without worrying about having to do p90.
I'd suggest adjustable dumbbells as well. I use everything from piddly little 5 lbs for a couple things all the way up and between to 45 lbs for some of the shoulder stuff. I'm sure stronger dudes would need more. So if you're that, get more. I wish I had more for a few things, but I don't yet. And I don't have a nice dial up set, just bars and plates with clips to hold them on.
I haven't followed the exact diet per se. I was already pescetarian with no dairy or processed ty foods in my diet. I've looked at it though, the first phase anyway: it's basically all protein (lean as possible) and vegetables. Almost no fat, sugar or carbs. Which means very little fruit, bread and rice. Don't even think about soda and candy. All I've had/tried to do is cut the out of my carbs. Not following the exact plan, but all I'm eating is fish, beans, hemp protein, vegetables, hemp milk/orange juice and water. I'm still drinking beer and whiskey, which is where I'm getting any carbs from, in addition to the OJ I mix with the hemp protein. I find it tolerable, but yeah, I was almost there before I started.
You need to find a chuggable protein source. Hemp protein is the only way to go tbh. Even if it's more expensive. Whey is re ed. Reading on such here:

Yeah I can't wait till the summer where I can fully do it. I wasn't even using school as an excuse. There are some people motivated and disciplined enough to do it during school, I'm not one of those people. When I'm in school me going on sugar binges the night before exams is inevitable so it's stupid for me to waste time trying to do P90X during school.
I've done the p90x before (bought it and tried it) but I don't really need to lose weight so I just stopped using it lol.
I'm going to be doing the Plyometrics for my vertical leap though. I'm just going to stick to bench pressing and curls, I'll get much stronger like that. I can get my bench press up at least 10lbs a month with a ty diet, and at least 5lbs a month for my curls.
I take ON whey protein shakes w/ no fat milk every day and I won't be changing that. Once when I wake up and after the gym.
Those fancy adjustable dumbbells look nice but the plate dumbbells are A LOT cheaper and I'll probably go that route.
I figured I wouldn't be able to go all the way through the first video but everyone says just do what you can but push yourself, so I plan on doing what I can do until I can get through the whole daily program.
My diet is not too bad but I just have way to many carbs, probably why I'm never thin. It's hard for me to find acceptable/cheap/tasty options to the usual carb sides and condiments. I don't drink sodas/eat sweets but I do drink sugar free redbulls before school so I can pay attention.
I just don't know if P90's diet plan is reasonable or caters to more exotic time consuming foods to make.
I've tried ON. It's one of the best products. Have you tried Myofusion by Gaspari. It might be one the best proteins I have tasted.
