You're right to a large extent, the blow it up approach isn't nearly all Portland and OKC make it cracked up to be, but with Cuban as owner it wouldn't mean a decade of like during the 90's. It's perfectly reasonable for people to be tired of the same group of players winning 50 games and then losing in the playoffs every year, regardless of how bad the franchise was prior to said group of players.
