I'm pretty sure a decent amount of us are fans of both..
It seems to be the newer breed of SpursTalk members that dislike Tony Parker..
Me too.
Tony had a difficult year. These "Tony" haters have been at it for awhile now (all through the regular season) , there was even a " you Tim Duncan" thread that popped up by DMX.
Tony haters will quickly vanish once he gets back on the court this season, especially him playing during a contract year. He will be a beasstttttt.
If we want any chance at competing for the le you better hop on the Tony bandwagon because he is our only hope. We go where he takes us this season.
I think both of them are valuable to the team and the community.

, I thought about it, too.
Got to watch a lot of play-off action that didn't involve the Spurs this time around because i finally signed up to league pass broadband . Noticed three other players command the attention Manu received against the Suns. Meaning, team defenses soley focused on containing ONE player's game. From taking out driving lanes with multiple defenders to 2-man traps. These guys saw it all. Every-one else was secondary. They were Steve Nash, Kobe Bryant and Lebron James. Read up and listen to Alvin Gentry through-out the series. He had only Manu in mind. Some-else posted in this thread RJ shooting open jumpers? Now you know why.
During the regular season Manu Dominating in March/April caught a lot of teams by surprise . During the play-offs the opposition was ready.
No, manu didn't win any games on his own but it's not that hard to figure out on why he didn't.
dumbass, no goddamn comments lol
Well if you're going to say that, you might as well have said the days of any Spur making a difference in the playoffs are over. Quite frankly, you should go choose another team to root for from now on in the post season...perhaps Miami?
So what's this new game...single out a player, find a very small pool of games, and point out some ty stats?
Sounds pretty damn easy.
Oh I don't know, I guess I'll play too, let's take the first round (since you covered the 2nd vs. PHX) of the playoffs and let's find some stats from Tim Duncan, that top3 power forward of all time, who actually gets paid more than Manu does...
Game 4, 1/9 shooting :o ...but somehow the Spurs won, thanks to George Hill.
Game 5, 3/9 shooting with only 6 rebounds, won't cut it from our only big man, we lost the game.
At the end of the reg. season Duncan shot 1 for 10 vs. Orlando with only 6 boards, when the Spurs were chasing down a spot for themselves in the playoffs. It's a shame they lost because Manu showed up with 8/13 shooting....
wait a minute, WTF am I doing, WTF is the point of this game?
You're a ing moron.
It has to be said. Game 3 was the game that mattered the most. A must win situation. The only player that showed up and carried the team was Manu. Tony gets a pass as he took a heavy hit to the floor but where were the rest of their teammates?
You could say they got Dragiced!!! If not for an extraordinary effort, this would of been the game Manu won for the team.
