Yes. Only thing in their way would be injuries. Let's give them the benefit of the doubt this year. Its an odd one once again and my mom just bout my 3 year old a personalized Spurs jersey.

Yeah, but, we stuck a stopper in the bottle on that odd malarkey, Flux.
Okay. This thread isn't about Utah, but if you're gonna be a little ass-chafe over me giving my opinion on the thread's, y'know, subject, I can take a few minutes to set you straight:
Their. Al Jeff on a repaired knee is still ten years younger than your center who has bone on bone in both his knees. Bell is a downgrade from Matthews, but he's more than serviceable and I'm happy we signed him. And we didn't need an all-star draft pick to be better than your broken down team.
1) What do you base on to say that Dallas is better than the Spurs? The adittion of Tyson Chandler?
2) Everybody is jumping on the Thunder bandwagon way too fast IMO, they were the 8th seed last year, they're still a bit young to be contenders IMO.
3) lol Chicago
I wanted to say yes, because I am a Spurs fan.
But then I remembered the Greek and Spanish league, and it's clear that the Spurs are not top 5 material. We all know Panawhateverthe is the best team in the universe, and that Olympiblah is a close second.
Then there are those Euroleagues that have Greek players on them, and that instantly makes them 10 times better than any team the NBA has to offer.
So no, the Spurs would not be able to crack top 5.
bump for prosperity.
Hope I dont jinx it.
As it stands now, Spurs are easily a 55 win team, as I said those 2 months ago...
I didnt forget ers and I'll keep reminding you.
47 wins to go.
Easy.
Here's something to ease your pain.

lol at that dustin hoffman looking motha er
Yall are big-headed ass s. To the Sun's fans, get your head out of the clouds because everyone knows your victory against the Lakers was a fluke. The Sun's are still an amazing team, but The Spurs have surpassed them this season. To Jazz fans, you really think you'd overcome the Spurs with your cute little comebacks? How funny. Mavericks fans, you will suffer the same fate as last season. & last, but certainly not least, the lakers fans, the cream of the crop-dusters. You're team is superb! There! You happy? You little conceited pricks, you linger like disease in these forums, here's your attention, now go molest yourselves!
The Spurs will show you that you don't need to ride a high horse to the finish line.
That's your ceiling.
Congratulations.
And trolling here is your glass ceiling.
Congratulations.
They're on pace for 50 easily. Right now they are playing top 5 ball.
the question is are the Spurs top 5 team right now? of course they are, only a brain dead moron would think otherwise. They have the best record in the league.
But I agree it is too early to even ponder such questions.
Keep in mind, Duncan does not turn the switch until playoffs. He is no where close to what he once was, but he can still dominate. No matter how ty he looks now, we all know he will be Tim Duncan come playoff time.
I'm not worried about G Hill YET. We saw something very special in him last season vs. Dallas in the playoffs.
+ he was Player of the Decade by Sports Ill!!!
boston i mean if perkins didn't get injure they would have beaten the lakers in the finals, so they are pretty relevant too.
But, Perkins got injured. Ipso facto, we left 'em, dead in the ground.
Sasha:::beatin' the camera man to the free throw line. tee, hee.
The Spurs are easily a top 5 team, Manu, TP, RJ, and Duncan are all back. Duncan's been sick so that's why his numbers are down from the last 2 games, but prior to him getting sick he was tearing it up. Parker is playing like a top 5 PG in the NBA, Manu is playing like the best SG in the NBA, and RJ is playing like one of the best SF's in the NBA. Hill and Blair aren't even playing that well either but the Spurs are still 8-1.
The question shouldn't be whether the Spurs are a top 5 team, but whether the Lakers are a top 5 team.
Kobe's clearly on the decline, it's quite obvious that Gasol is now the leader of LA, just look at game 7 last year with him carrying Kobe. I mean, they can't even beat the Nuggets or the Suns, that's pretty sad.
Without Bynum their defense has been non-existent, they're struggling to beat teams like PHX, Houston, Denver, Minnesota, and Toronto.
^Just don't get skunked again, Hooks. That's your ceiling, sweetheart.
At the moment, maybe, but it means .
At the end, I'll just repeat what I said in another thread upstairs in regards to whether or not the Spurs have a shot at number 5 this year:
"No, not really. Unless Hill figures out a way to turn it on, Bonner doesn't turn into Bonner, and the rooks start playing out of their minds, SA won't get past LA or BOS."
