I like the name Smallville. Just think of how well it fits if he someday becomes SUPER.
James "Smooth Stroke" Anderson
James "From 3-point Landerson"

Josh Smith is nicknamed J-Smoove, so it's close...but I like the way that sounds.
Others I like...
Humble James
Big Game James (when he earns it for Spurs)
Mr. Anderson
How about James "A-Game" ?
if we dare call him that you know what the nickname would turn into if he goes through a slump right?? lol no dont do it haha
I'm new here, but I have to say, nicknames are earned. 4 games in Really? For now I suggest, "Hey kid".
I don't think you can call the guy Big Game James until hes had a few, you know, big games. "Big Shot Bob" was an earned name that came after years of work and exquisite late game icewater shots. If Anderson does some crazy then I think you discuss that name.
Humble James is nice though as it already has a base following and seems very appropriate.
Mr A is shorter
I've been calling him Junction James ever since I did a piece on him awhile back. But back in Junction City he's been given the name "Humble," as it's always been the way he was.
I suppose you could go "The Cowboy" or "Cowboy" given his college but as DPG alluded to, his newest nickname is "Father."
Congratulations, Junction/Humble/Cowboy James (Mr.) Anderson!![]()
I like Junction James. Seems fitting. He is a very shy, humble guy. Brings me back to a better time.
James "iwishspurstalkwouldstopmakingupwacknames" anderson
I'm a fan of Junction James.... and humble James will always be acceptable as that's what his friends and family call him.
However, if I was to add one more to the mix it would simply be "BIG J."
