I am of the opinion that most of the ing about Obama's ineffective first two years is based largely on (willful?) ignorance -- either of what he has gotten accomplished, just how big of a mess he has had to clean up, or a combination of the two -- but the fact that DADT is still on the books is, at this point, unforgivable. And speaks negatively about every level of government, including an executive branch that I, as a supporter, had hoped would be a bit more focused on human rights issues than it has been thus far. I've got my doubts that much of anything can be accomplished these days, as the discourse is just TOO divisive, but it's an issue that I'd like to see Obama be a bit more aggressive in trying to fix.
