I haven't had a ticket in two years now. I had an STS that I drove the out of and had so many tickets in that thing it was pathetic. I sold it and took my foot off the gas when my last ticket for 68 in a 55 was $245. In case you don't know it, they have raised the cost of fines in the legislature to ASTRONOMICAL costs in this last legislative session. They need the money. Just a heads up. Expect any fines to be painful. And a DWI ? You don't wanna go anywhere near that . $1000 a year to renew your DL for the next, I think, 5 years. Be safe out there.
I've heard you can take defense driving by renting a video at Blockbuster.
And taking a test. There is also a web site, www.defensivedriving.com . They have you take a test and it takes about 6 hours. You can take the test over several days if you want.
