I don't think anyone would of had the guts to do that but only Manu. I am pretty sure he did it because he is confident in his abilities. I love the way the game was on the line and he hit 2 crucial shots. You can tell that Manu,TD, and Horry just love playing in close games especially in playoff time. You can see it in them.

Manu is not on his right mind, he's on his left one. LOL

Actually, it is the right part of the brain that controls his left hand!

We'll see. Prince did a pretty good job at locking up D Wade in game 1.
One of the biggest differences between Wade's and Manu's play is that Manu is shooting 50% from the 3pt line in the playoffs, it might not be so easy to keep him out of driving to the rim.

Yes, but Prince is unique in that he is so long that he can play off his man and still bother him on the jump shot.

tlong, take a look at how many times Manu has put Shawn Marion in the blender during the Spurs games with Suns during the season and this series. Marion is a terrific defender with all the same physical gifts that Prince does. If the Pistons are able to keep Manu out of the paint it will be because they have Ben Wallace patrolling the key, not because of anything Prince is going to be able to do.

don't remember this shot, but if it was a jump shot how can it qualify unless it was a backwards one handed jumper with 3 people on him.
My bad.. it was game 4 of the 93 Finals, Chicago up 2-1. There was like 15 seconds left, Chicago's up 2, and Jordan attacks the basket hard. Barkley knocks the out of him, Jordan's spinning in mid-air, hits the shot, makes the free throw.. game over. 55 points

I was yelling no no no....yessssss!!!!!

    I am spent.

You and me both. Euphorically spent must describe a lot of Spurs fans today. I had just gotten my son to sleep when I woke him up by yelling, "YES! HOLY ! DID YOU SEE THAT?!" (note, no one else was in the room to have seen it.) Not the best dad I guess, but I couldn't help it.

    I can't wait until Saturday.

Prince is a WAY better defender than Marion, and Pisstons as a team are superb defensively. Manu will have a LOT more trouble penetrating or scoring at all, that's a fact. How much they can contain him, and what other "tricks" Manu will pull out of his sleeve to counteract is still a mistery.
