It doesn't matter what Harris does with the Nets. It's what he did on a good team is what matters. He did a better job than Kidd did here. That is a fact. The stats of the team and record show it. It's not until we got more talent around Kidd that he started doing close to Harris in the regular season. But he failed in the Playoffs as he is pretty much useless in a half court set. We beat the Spurs with Harris and lose to them with Kidd. Seriously proving your point about Harris that he can't do anything on a terrible Nets team is a terrible example of what he could've done here.

Even though what you said is wrong, you can also make the case that the Nets completely turned to after Kidd left and brought Harris in. Suddenly the Nets have no leadership, and aren't ever in the discussion for the playoffs, something they were in on a yearly basis with Kidd there.

And you are acting like there was no talent on the team when Harris was in Dallas. There was a of a lot more offensive talent during his time, with Dirk, Terry in his prime, Howard in his prime, Stackhouse, Van Horn, Daniels, all were scorers feared by opposing teams.

You say Nets have no leadership with Harris. Maybe so, but I like Harris with the Nets right now much more then I would like Kidd, when trouble times come Kidd runs(demands a trade like a coward).

The Nets were falling apart anyways. That is why Kidd demanded a trade. Carter and Jefferson were soon gone from that Nets team and they had crap. Kidd would not help that team. Yes they got weaker immediately after the trade. Dallas was doing well that same year with Harris starting. The problem after the trade is that Kidd lost a lot of speed and Terry made it even more obvious that our guards were too slow. We needed a slasher at either the 1 or 2. We didn't have it.
