Or he could wear a suit on the bench, like Dirk.
Instead, Kobe will just settle for number 6.

Or Kobe will do his usual routine of saying how bad he is hurting before a game, and if he has a good game, he'll say his injury isnt as bad as he made it out to be
Excellent post, Cul.

is his pinky still injured? because it seems like he has had that injury since 2006.
Man the guy's been playing at full tilt since he was like 18 or something... not surprising.
Coincidentally, Luva and Kool's new joint that drops on Valentine's Day is led Bone On Bone.
Kobe was selfish for taking it. He should have done them a solid, and left some money on the table to shop for some younger team mates for his last couple of years.
19/11
19/11
18/10
If that's irrelevant, Bynum is non-existant.
I give Kobe respect for playing through injuries and pain, he's obviously tough..I don't have a problem with any of this..I just find it funny that he talks about his injuries more than any player I've ever seen, in any sport..even though the media asks for it, he still blames his injuries for his poor play, which annoys me..
lol Spurs/Knicks/Heat fan
Fortunately our rapist knees is better than their rapist knees...He got acquitted too.
No, Bryant did not get acquitted. He paid the girl and undisclosed amount of money, and she dropped the case.
OJ Simpson didn't have that luxury.
Michael Vick didn't have that luxury.
But Bryant did it, and everybody knows it. Yet Laker fans still cheer for him every single day, and even dress their daughters in #24 jerseys.
Wow. Just wow.
And he got 5 rings too.
Wow. Just wow.
Your Neal raped too. You've no room.
Exaggerate much? Hyperbole is your forte! Look we all know you hate Kobe but that is bull . But i guess one must deflect when their favorite player develops a mysterious elbowmymom edatrolli s in the playoffs last year ...
Yes, he did. Riding the coattails of Shaquille and Pau.
By the way, Fisher has five rings, too.
So...wow. Just wow.
Hyperbole. If someone is actually injured, it usually results in a reduced level of play...and when prompted I don't see a problem in stating what is wrong with them. I can't recall when Kobe has said I played bad because of my pinkie, knee, back spasms, etc.
Kobe was asked about his struggles during the OKC series and the end of last season, and he said it was due to his injuries..
Obviously injuries result in a reduced level of play..however, using them as an excuse, especially if you're a star player, is a pussy move IMO..what makes it even worse is that Kobe is portrayed as a "warrior" that doesn't make excuses..
Kome already working on his excuse just in case they fail to threepeat.... nothing to see here.
