What a contradicting statement. So does he mean they will catch them in the regular season standings? Face them again this season and, perhaps, tie or "catch them" at some point during a game? Or does he mean they will eventually face the Spurs in a playoff series?

The Spurs are about to crank up their defense a notch down the stretch. I don't see anyone in the West "catching" the Spurs in a playoff series, that's for sure.
