I don't know about that. I feel like a much better fan than Benefactor after this thread. He's obviously a smarter basketball analyst, though.
Yeah, I will get right on that...

Ohm, some people are right way more often than others though. Doesn't make you "above them", but to act like everyone's takes on here are equal is just silly.
We have all been wrong though. Numerous times.
I have said this spurs front office is over rated. They have locked up this same core team for the next couple of years. This team as constructed is not a championship contender.
For what its worth the OP made a thread that the Spurs and Duncan were done last season after losing at New Jersey without Parker and Manu on the tail end of a back to back road trip. Nothing new to see here from benefactor![]()
Its not that he posted that they're done. Thats not the point. Its that on the night of the worst loss many Spurs fans can remember, this asshole can only think to say "I TOLD YOU SO".
I thought thats what the Mavs and Lakers trolls were for.
They are also for not paying me on bets they lost.
I'm willing to give anyone 10 to 1 odds on any bet that Jefferson won't be here for 3 more years.
People are unaware on the size and length of Blair and Hill's contracts. With their salary value to go up at least 500-600% (when their rookie contracts expire), the Spurs will most likely look to move one or both of them if they don't intend to pay them. (Remember how they just gave Tony a 4 year-50 million dollar extension; he plays PG btw).
This off-season will be the perfect time to package Blair with Jefferson FWIW.
I didn't say everyone's takes are equal. We are all squarely on equal ground as fans however.
You must really love Glee...
It's less about what the Spurs could have done and more about people failing to realize that this was not going to lead to success. I know that the Spurs didn't have the personnel to play the type of defense they played in the past...but many fans were still saying that the increase in offense would offset the defensive issues and all would be fine. I told them it was not going to be fine and they pointed to the Spurs record. Now here we are...down 3-1 to the 8 seed and no one can seem to process it. It does suck, but I can process it fine because I saw this coming long ago. I thought the Spurs would win this series fairly convincingly...partially because I underestimated the Grizz a bit. But it's no surprise to me they are losing it. It just happened a bit sooner than expected.
I like Glee quite a bit. Is that really an attempt at an insult?
There can be only one, and anyone who loses before that will be going through the same things we are. If we aren't going the entire distance, no reason to go anywhere.
You're the one who knew they were from Glee....
Only if you're not gay.
Indeed. I have been quick to admit my failures too. I've eaten much crow for things I have posted. Perhaps some sort of smile will come from the basketball gods and I will eat it once again.
I don't have anything against Glee, just an observation on the GIF's you chose...commercials made the characters recognizable...
I agree.
This team hasn't played the kind of defense necessary to make a real run at a le this season. Every single Spurs fan saw that. It's not cutting edge to think LA, Boston and now OKC had a better chance. An "I told you so" thread is the stuff of pussy fans.
Yes....commercials....
No one was talking to you...I guess your attempt to block the fun bunch celebration was distracted by my post to Chumpdumper...

You can't be serious with this.
Honestly, though . . . is it worth scoreboarding anyone who actually said anything like that. I can't think of a single, specific poster who had this take because it was probably someone I don't pay a lot of attention to anyway.
Yes...although I do like Jane Lynch's movie work.
